Most punters are chasing trends, buy on uptrend and sell on downtrend.

Those didn't buy on dip yesterday are now regret.

"Buy on downtrend say catch falling knives" applicable on bear market.

margin trader, day trader, investor, etc mentality and strategy are different e.g margin trader sell on downtrend to avoid margin call is triggered.

many missed yesterday's opportunity to buy, can only watch green from sideline.

Current stock market has detached from the economy, stock price movement has virtually nothing to do with the economy but fresh money pouring into the market.
