Yes, they do make money.... but if you analyze the bigger picture... the money they made, is actually much less had they made the correct decision to jump into Superman early on.

I wonder after today's gloves bloodbath, those glove wannabes dare to venture into glove manufacturing anymore? Most of the time when they make the announcements, it may be just to hype up their share prices. Since sentiment is so poor, my guess is this venture is now facing an early death at the drawing board.

Money already made from share price rise; profit from glove production is secondary. beside, gloves share price dropped doesn't mean asp has dropped.

Those so called "super low PE" fundamental counter like glove also drop 10% in a day, might as well play the higher risk/reward ratio counter haha.

The big boys waiting the tech to turn bearish before shorting, now trend indecisive yet.

Tech still need to see bigtech.

If bigtech like Tesla, Zoom, shopify don't die, it's very hard to fight retailer greed.

There is the risk they try to short and might fail and get squeeze out.

A reason why gloves sector was vulnerable is many retailers divested into other sectors. similar could happen to tech.

Although I dont see much correlation between US bigtech with malaysia tech, I agree with you. When the PE 100x counters drop, might drop big like gloves too. 100% down from peak is not unlikely.
