That's the big assumption people are debating right now.
Bull says supranormal demand will be the new normal, bear says it will normalize within the next 2 years.

Good counters are evergreen, can keep at least 20 years for dividends, bonus, rights and rewards

Ya if only you bought

TSLA, AMZN, GOOGLE,AAPL, MICROSFT and SHOPIFY.

TGLOV and SUPERMX is no TSLA and AMZON.

Few years down the road, your dividends can't cover your loss of capital when TG back to pre-covid levels..

Overvalued or not.. every tom dick and harry knows about it and are buying it.

press coverage all over the world.. Media crown these stocks so much that everyone says its a beginner buy. Buy small and hold for 20 years..

Huge ass MARKET CAP.

What is TOPGLOV and SUPERMX? They came up big due to pandemic serving as a catalyst. Once it is over, we'll be saying sayonara.

NESTLE is a better buy if you're in for dividends, rights and bonus..

Buy for long term, the dividends will payback the losses while prices will recover.

In the long term... dividends won't help a single bit if the stock business is declining.

Best example BAT in 2015. BAT was trading at a very high price then. About 60 bucks.
If ALEE had simply buy BAT in 2015, and using the assumption that dividends will payback the losses (BAT is known for its dividends, even back in 2015) ....
do you think ALEE can recover the losses?

Good counter in aspect of what?
Tech counter also kena pump and dump in bursa.
Bursa only can stick to defensive stock bank or utiliity stock like tM (GLC/ monopoly company)

Don't hope bursa stock got growth.

When it comes to charts and TA, need to tag Boon3.

TG bulls need to realize we are not saying TG is not a good company. Most of us are discussing the industry as a whole. The best company in the world cannot grow if there is no headroom in an industry to do so.
And right now, it looks like the industry will retract from the highs of this year and next down the road.

AirAsia depends on their current transition strategy to go into Tech.
Tony been trying to turn the ship in this direction and we will see if they get a piece of market share with the tech platform. Potential adoption will be key to their survival.
Their pilots and all may be facing tough times, but my ex colleagues with them on the Tech side are as busy as ever.

I don't think their Retail and F&B efforts look to be gaining money anytime soon. So Tech may be their saviour.
If successful, don't be surprised if Tony goes into a rebranding exercise.

Right now, there are so many things one can pick up from TopG, purely from an academic point of view....

1. Sales buyback... the first crazy round, many traders did benefit .... but on the bigger picture ... it's quite clear that whatever benefit a share buyback has, it's gone if the company executes the buyback poorly.

2. Tracking EPF? Bloody waste of time.

3. Share getting into an index listing? There's absolutely zero conclusive evidence that the share will go boom boom because of it.

4. Chasing a stock for dividend... never a good idea.

5.

6.

feel free to add ... smile.gif

Cannot blame our government.

Smoking faced the same restrictions in most countries. Some even worst.

The amount of r&d those big tech are throwing around is no joke. There are not just an online store anymore just cause of their investment in tech.

They are pioneering last mile delivery with gig like jobs, drone deliveries and robotics warehousing solutions. They even got their own plane fleets.

While their cloud arm is bidding for the likes of pentagon defensive budget. Their aws solutions stacks are also doing heavy lifting in AI and Bigdata deployment for enterprises.

This is a fruitful stock forum to be read/learn. However recent 90% discussion is focus on glove (especially keep repeating how bad SBB and justify downtrend). Do we really have so much glove holder to 'educate' and 'rescue'? smile.gif

How airliners can transition to tech?

Airliners core business is transport people then collected ticket price, that still need physical airplane.
