when IT is sick, it may need to be told, others made aware.

just being a good citizen. biggrin.gif

nah, i think the HK listing shares will come from the bosses.

what they have in treasury now, possible use for next dividend.
*
I understand from a friend that SBB will likely to be used for HK listing. Am not sure true or not but was treasury shares used during Sg listing?. If yes, the same could be applied in HK. The thing I am curious is why EPF keep is also busy accumulating TG. Can EPF use their portions for HK listing as well?.

You do know TG boss sits on EPF advisory board .... which means a bloody conflict of interest, especially when EPF keeps buying so much TG shares.
This issue has been highlighted b4 ... but ....  rolleyes.gif  rolleyes.gif  rolleyes.gif
And you do know that this issue won't sit pretty with folks who don't own any TG shares......
easiest and daftest solution is ask the boss to quit that post, yes?
*
Definitely a conflict of interest. Like you can always get your "partner" to support you when needed cool2.gif That is why i wonder if EPF can use the portions they accumulated to list in HK. My expectation for HK listing is it would be great for TG share prices. I do not think there is currently any glove company listed in HKEX to date, hence if TG does it, I am sure it will attract more players.

only trust WHO statement and even the 5 vaccines approved by WHO for H1N1 have all failed.  biggrin.gif

I do hope vaccine can be ready asap then start count down of "pandemic is over". But two years time after vaccine is ready is still a very long period for us to wait to start overseas travelling again. Those who like to travel will be feeling like the worst time of their life.  sad.gif
*
I read somewhere (will post the article here if I can remember where I read it from) that this vaccination is all very political as well. Lets say you received a chinese made vaccine and few months/years later you wanna go to US. Even though you are inoculated but this chinese vaccine is not recognized in US (due to it being of a different strain), you may need to get the US version before you are allowed to travel there. Same laws could be applied in Australia, Europe, Africa, Russia etc. So those who love to travel may have to put those ideas away for a long time. That is another reason for glove mania to stay for a longer period post covid. Health workers still need to wear them!

Repost my notes on AT ....
One of the more obscene ridiculous shenanigans is of course AT.

I made some small notes on it before ....  cool2.gif

Points to note....

1. The Warrant had ALWAYS been in the money EXCEPT for lately.

conversion is 1:1 priced at 0.035 each.....

2. Conversion of warrants to ordinary shares is an ON going thing..... so today's number of AT shares will be different than last weeks.

AT as at today has 3.274 billion shares outstanding....
AT-W as at today has some 439 million shares .....

Based on its opening price ... AT and its warrant has a market cap of 863 million.

Which is really absurd...  yeah... around 30 sen.... you are talking about the fact that AT is worth ONE BEEEEELLion ringgit.

rolleyes.gif  rolleyes.gif

3. Pearl Gloves purchase price was what? 22 million? LOL! Think about it............... lol

4. Point 1 & 2 .... the structure of the shares is so important, no matter if you are a trader or investor. The conversion of the warrants, dilutes the earnings for the investor.

The CONSTANT increase of number of shares will cause a share overhang for the trader ............... remember this point.

5. The constant increment in new shares was also seen in ARBB.
6. And yeah so much utter crap going on in an effort to blatantly push up the shares...
*****

AT now is at 20 sen...

AT and its warrants at current prices is worth some cool 700 million.

The Peral Glove purchase was how much again? 22 million nia...

Do you think AT should be worth 1 Beeeeeeellion?

Don't forget got PP some more-
AT Systemization Bhd is raising RM99.3m through another private placement, which will involve it issuing up to 750.0m shares or 20.0% of its total issue price. RM71.2m would be used for its glove business and RM25.1m for working capital, with the balance to be used to defray expenses related to the exercise, which it expects to be completed by 1Q2021. I thought someone just shared this article in the morning and you all already forgotten his message? Do not be news/sentiment driven but look at the earnings.

I don't see smax doing any SBB but it's price is holding pretty well. TG on the other hand keep doing SBB together with EPF but yet it's price is not going up. So imagine if Tg doesn't do SBB, how low will it be today?

Another interesting observation is protest in Germany over lockdown today. No mask, no social distancing and the cases there already so bad. The same protesters probably also anti-vaxxers. Human rights too strong in western countries, I doubt they can bring down the cases even with availability of vaccines.
In fact there are already anti vax movements going around for sometime in the west. Msia also got anti vax grp -halal issues.
Add another country -Denmark had to withdraw their earlier plan of forced vaccinations after 9days of protest

Since today mkt so boring, l got some time to have a small talk here. Previously, as a newbie, I am also scared to ask questions to the sifus here. Some of you write like got Phd, masters, CFA and what not making LYN stock exchange looking like an atas or highly exclusive club (hehe...esp @Boon3). So I was just a silent reader for years. But due to covid 19 making stocks becoming a hot topic and with more participations from more forumers, I discovered this place to be a great clubhouse (way less toxic than I3). Hence it will be great if we can keep this camaraderie with our fellow investing communities and help/guide newbies along the way. I know sometimes the right place to ask questions is not here but at FAQs & Guide. But that place is so dead that sometimes you may not get your questions answered until days later. Over here, you can get instant reply and lots of useful info, news and opinions. So, please be more patient with some of these newbies cos we were once in their shoes before. Lastly thanks for all the info, tips and healthy discourse smile.gif

Best not to use chrome cos its very slow. I switched to Microsoft edge and got a better response time. HLe platform always recommended using explorer, I think for optimum performance. I am no IT expert here but my guess is bursa stock exchange was built donkey years ago under the older IE platform and now with so many types of browsers, some may not work as well. I have tried fire fox and performance wise is ok except i cannot stand its layout. Even MS edge different versions give you different problems.

Lastly i tried using different OS- Mac, Windows and Ubuntu. Best performance as in faster response time and less hanging issues? Mac is the best.

Most probably Tg coming qtr results very good, otherwise why spend 1B doing SBB?.Mgmt sees no reason for PP or issuing RI because it gives a negative connotation whereas SBB is an affirmative action.

Because analysts did not give outlook for others until 2023. cry.gif

If they do, I would have used it. Without that, can only project it based on recent year earnings provided that there is no abnormal profits here and there in the recent years' data.
*
Yes, its true no analyst gives projection for other stocks except for glove companies. But i find these glove projections have a lot of flaws. For example:
- did they factor in the "what if" no vaccine in sight for the next few years?
- did they factor in how with the amount of money made, these glove companies could diversify into other industries? Where others are struggling on a daily basis now to make some money and with debts piling up, it would take them years to be in the black (think AirAsia). So how could these analysts projections for the glove be used when they do not know what these glove companies plan to do with their earnings?
- the CEOs of the Big 4 have from time to time gave an analyst briefing on their ASP, sales etc. All have years in this industry, they are not new players but had seen through Sars, ebola, h1n1 ad so many other viruses. So who is the industry expert here? The analyst or the glove bosses?

So my simple question is - if these analysts cannot factor in revenues for 2023 for other industries/stocks, how could they confidently gave projections for glove companies?

The more news about the efficacies of covid vaccines, the more doubt i have. In fact since Pfizer, Moderna, Sputnik and AstraZeneca news, you do not see a drop in covid cases but instead an increase in spite of all the positivity and enthusiasm being posted in the media. Sure enough, you read or hear about how this X country going to inoculate their citizens come Dec2020, maybe Jan2021, emergency approval being sought by X country for X vaccine, MOUs being signed by X country to be the first to get X vaccine or how logistic preparations are being done to transport and store this X vaccine. All for some feel good factors! Great imaginations and story telling at work!. The harsh reality is the opposite is true - no vaccine is yet to be approved by WHO, no peer reviews are done and not much data are released to date. Hence with no proven vaccines in sight, i would continue to put my capital in covid related stocks for now. Banks, O&G, logistics, hospitality, tourism plays are ok, no harm and no wrong in it, but to say that a turn around is just around the corner is a load of bollocks.

There is a guy named Philip in I3 whom i respected because he dares to put money where his mouth is and he openly shares his purchases online for all to read (which i think is very brave of him!). The one major mistake he make was to sell off his TG holdings too soon. If not, he would have been a billionaire by now. I hope you are not him rclxs0.gif .

i m sure u follow the news closely.

what i read... the astrazenca vacc has gone sour... mfg error, data doubtful... lots more work.

pfizer - freezing requirements too tough... hard to go big.

moderna... less freezing requirements, looks best at this time... but still costly, cumbersome... likely to be used in USA only.

regeneron drug now approved... at least 1 treatment OK.
russian sputnik... very doubtful as record cases still.

china vacc... little known, but perhaps they dun shout until it is fully ready... hope so... do with WHO, we all can get reasonable cost.

meanwhile, all take care, please...
*
regeneron drug is therapeutic drug, meant to treat after a person has had the virus. Not a vaccine
