This is going to be announced in May. Wait and see. Most analysts are expecting a cut, either another 0.25 or more at 0.5. Banks will be squeezed more, but good for borrowers. Bad for MYR tho..

Besides Bank already having funds from Bonds/Sukuk issued some time back as well as relaxed monetary recently - SRR.

Of course their profit will fall but then again in current market condition, which Companies will declare dividends and high profit except few industry only.

Is IDSS really lifted early May? How will it impact the market. In a market that's not in decline shouldn't bring much differnefe right

Yea interest rate reduction will be bad for banks, hence will affect our stock market

Erm klci at 1000++ is a big range. Could be anything from 1000 to even 1800

There r much more shortsellling in markets like the US and Singapore. SS wasn't banned in those markets.

If it falls, SS is probably not a big factor. Fundamentals affected for a lot of companies

SS lifted or not no big deal. Q1 financial report more of a big deal

That is actually very soon. But then again the current price could have factored in
