I'm of the opinion that this drop is the current pricing in of the hard MCO and the high cases.
How much more it has to drop, of course, can be a source of debate. I waited for the afternoon session to see how things would develop, looks to have stabilized a bit. That said, no guarantee that it won't waterfall at closing.

Already rolled the dice but of course, still have unallocated funds sitting in the bank as backup.

UWC being dumped heavy lately. Share price running ahead of earnings? Or growth story not as convincing.

With daily cases over 6k, a mco that people think will not resolve the problem, slow vaccination progress, businesses slowly dying if not already dead, why would folks still think market will go up? Is it because last week's market priced in worse mco measures? How about the fact that our economy is real bad now?

One accounting firm I know, many of their business customers have many tax refunds pending from LHDN. Prepaid xxx but last year's profit tanked.

I wonder if the govt has the means to refund... Much like the gst refund. Not sure when life will be back to normal and can fly again... How AirAsia can survive without govt backing seriously a miracle.

Among the big 4, Spmx has the lowest PE of 3.63. Yea no one see glove FA anymore cos of "market is forward looking". But at times like that with lots of uncertainties and severity of msia covid cases. I'll still continue to trade on 2nd tier glove stocks - covid cases and lockdown sentiment driven now (instead of investing).
