I was expecting banks to not go up so fast due to UMNO and their insistence on loan deferment. But I am so wrong... Foreign fund seems to be coming back...

The Company wishes to announce that the application for the proposed listing of Top Glove on the HKEX (“HKEX Listing Application”) which was submitted to the HKEX on 26 February 2021 lapsed on 26 August 2021 as the listing application has a validity of 6 months under the HKEX Listing Rules.

The Company is still pursuing the Proposed Dual Primary Listing and intends to renew the HKEX Listing Application as soon as practicable.

The Company also wishes to inform that with the amendments made to the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (“revised CMSA”), which took effect on 1 July 2021, the approval for the Proposed Dual Primary Listing from the SC is no longer required.

On behalf of Top Glove, HLIB had on 26 August 2021 written to the SC, to withdraw the application for the Proposed Dual Primary Listing as it is no longer required under the revised CMSA.

One week bought more than RM900 mil

Looks like recovery play is the way forward.

But I have little skeptic on banks profit  due to how targeted moratorium affected NPL.
Lot of shoplots hanging banner for sale/rent, malls business are not as brisk as last time, many shops are closed down.
But banks still reporting very good profit due to not much NPL that seems disjointed from what we see out there.
Or the economy is actually much resilient than first taught.
