i already added spmx+TG yesterday, was just watching today.

very tricky today - some wanna sell big, some wanna buy big.

i am a bit surprised but pleased SPMX finished at 6.03 - looks like good stuff next week!

TG... lots of selling at around 5.66 - someone sold big here today, but could be shortie reusing the 5 million bought back a day earlier.

the "bomb" will come, for sure.

but it may not be a big global nuclear bomb but a regional cluster bomb - some gets fried, some may come out ok?

the info from bursa seems to allude to EPF taking profits for TG, kossan, harta - seen that for some days now.

could be some FF and/or LF selling too.

but EPF fund managers trade big time all the time, hard to say what they r doing over a longer period.


SPMX, there are wild rumors that the coming QR will be way above expectations, marvelous dividend.

let's not get carried away, we shall see then!

MY glove counter shares are predominantly owned by MALAYSIAN entities - directors, EPF, local funds, retailers.

hence the sentiment is predominantly local.

but when it comes to actual sales, not same la... we all know that too, of course.

i think the opposite will happen.

wed, there was 5 mil shares buy back for TG; fri, no short except a bit for harta.

tmr morning, we will know if there was buyback on fri.... i m expecting it.

so, we'll see data tmr, 8am or so.

this coming week, if glove sentiments up, i wud think shortie will continue to buyback.

just my guess only... they are <rm100mil in the red, small change, may keep shorting, who knows?

i actually doubt they will do that as that will make the small pasars/bazaars people very angry - our politicians primarily think of votes.

BUT, it is very likely they will close all avenues of mass gatherings - schools, places of worship, celebrations... restrict dining to 3-5 people, etc.

still... things can change quickly if we get >5k cases a day.

apr 28, shortie bought back a bit of TG.

and >6mil of kossan... think buying back again today, tmr.

understandable... kossan dividend ex date on may 5.


and... the way spmx is going, it does look like some nice QR on the way.

hopefully, the harta QR will do another "kossan"!

the market is saying it is below expectations, at least relative to last kossan QR.

i personally dun think it is poor, esp if u read the presentation slides talking about ASP, production, capacity, shipping obstacles, etc.

in particular, they are expecting ASP to be higher in upcoming qtr alto we know it will ease off soon after that.

anyone wanna throw stones or spit on it, pls do.

but try naming some others making 49% net margin, same 33 sen or higher per share per quarter.

other than the other big 3, that is.


i await my 17.7 sen dividend - ex date 21 may, payment 9 june!
