Sometimes, a dead cat bounce can be for the morning session only or a 1 day show. I have experienced it before for glove stocks.

Morning session, my unrealised profit was five figure but by afternoon afternoon session, all the glove stocks retreated and my unrealised profits was wiped out and became unrealised losses.

You are welcome. As I have said before, you can always sell in stages (whether to lock in the gains or to reduce the losses). 

No right or wrong approach. Just decide and don't look back or regret the decision.

Switching off the computer, hiding under the bed and refusing to do anything is the worst option! 

everyday is bargain hunting. The question is what is the price that you want to achieve for averaging down and the plan for it.

averaging down to get more share quantity is much more difficult to do compare to buy into uptrend because you are fighting with smart money to collect bargain chips.

check around, is those hardcore glove supporters have turned bearish? if yes, then we entering into despair stage, which is the last stage. 

I'm still holding spx and its over 10k loss as at ytd haha...... but today pump back to below 10k loss liao... dunno want happy or cry lol...

But yea, if today can close at current price or higher, tomorrow hopefully should continue green.....Based on the chart if rebound, the range should be at around RM 5.6-5.8 and if reach there, i prepare to cut loss if the rebound is gone case....

nvm, this is a priceless lesson that can guide you into the future investing.

if investing, don't chase high, because when you are in paper loss, without experience, you will easily cut when the price breakeven and miss out the whole "uptrend" because that is just the starting point of a surge. This is human behavior. Everyone who is new has to go through it.

if trading, be discipline with your risk management before start looking into how much you can potentially profit. Protect capital is the utmost importance before talk about profit. The risk-reward ratio is very important. If you chase too high without a base nearby, your cut loss setup is very far and risky.

If I survive this round of glove stocks slaughter (for the 10th time), probably time to say "no mas".

Sold of 1/2 of HLT and Ruberex around noon. Sold too early. They are still trending upwards. Both breached +20% in the market now.

Now selling down my remaining shares of HLT and Ruberex in tranches.

As far as I am aware of, there is no limit how many times we can sell the same stock in Rakuten on the same day in batches.

But sometimes, we have 4000 shares.

1. Then we enter an order to sell for 3000 shares for price A.
2. Then we mistakenly key in an order for sell for 2000 shares for price B.

We are short of 1000 shares to sell. So, the order to sell get rejected.

Or sometimes, we mistakenly try to sell shares from our Cash UpFront Account when the shares are actually sitting in our Contra Account. So, the order will get rejected.

Yep started to enjoy reading here too, so much better than the forum posts in i3, if there’s even a need for comparison. One thing I really like is that we’re all honest, average investors sharing our journey filled with success, losses & personal fears, as opposed to those hyped-up gurus trying to sell programs. I have just added position at 2.18 just now. 

I just entered KGB at RM2.180 just now for trading rebound. It is now down -10%. But no MOS. TA and FA also not very good. Enter at your risk. 

Wait for the dip for the following stocks. But they may never dip again!

3.  Asiapac

KGB keep going south a.

Trading buy

1. Entered KGB in 3 tranches when it keep on dropping all the way from -10% to -15%. Suicide mission.

I ended up with an average price of RM2.110 at -0.54% at closing.

Tomorrow I will either win big or lose big with KGB. I did say in my earlier post that there is no MOS (margin of safety) for KGB and that this is a high risk venture. 

Catching a falling knife?

Hope it does not turn out to be JFtech, KPower, SCIB or Tasco. Just to name a few counters that keep dropping sampai pisau terbenam dalam tanah.

I really don’t have a fixed approach. It depends on the movement of the stocks.

Sometimes, when I make a RM500 to RM1000 profit or more and the stock is for pure trading, I will sell all.

For KGB, I will monitor it tomorrow morning. I will probably sell 2/3 and keep the remainder if it goes up about 8%. If there is no momentum and the price is retreating after an initial surge, I will sell all. If it goes up +15% to +20% (unlikely), I will sell all.

Cut loss policy also applies. KGB may fail tomorrow. 😃

For you, if you are a value investor and plans to keep KGB for at least 1 year, then today was a good opportunity to top up.

If you believe in this stock, then just hold over longer horizon. It is volatile but it can go both ways.

Up because it has drop so much that a dead cat rebound may happen and it has attracted attention from bargain hunters who don't mind paying slightly more that 2.09.

Down because the sentiment for tech is weak but as far as I am concern, most tech shares will get beaten down so you need to ignore the noises.

How old is old? Though I think most modern gal gal won't come to Lowyat haha.
Anyways that's still a very good average price cause mine is 2.33. Desperately waiting for it to rebound, I believe in the FA!
