I looked at Inari and I already called that crazy. Greatec and Vitrox don't actually make any sense. How could they be worth that much? One thing though is that the article did mention low liquidity on some stock like Vitrox (29% according to the article).

Btw, many years ago, my brother's BIL recommended Vitrox at RM2. When I pulled the QR, I didn't buy.

The market can stay irrational longer than most expected. I believe most tech buyers now are mostly momentum traders.

Any counters to share that will be skyrocketed in coming days?
*
Cryptos, especially the mini ones, either pump or dump.

So ur opinion is crypto is better than KLCI? 😂
*
If u can afford to lose it all, crypto is your option for skyrocket possibility thumbsup.gif

Safer but slower bets now would be energy and financial counters, which just broke up days ago, at least these the chance to be trapped high here is lower because the valuations for most of the counters in these sectors are still damn cheap

Also KLCI just broke up today, banks are looking really good. Also note that their upcoming QR will be better than most expected with reduction in loan loss provisioning, and the absence of modification loss. Just wait lo, or buy near end of next week, should spike after the QR, because this most likely hasnt been priced in.

The revival of the dividends too might attract investors back into the sector.

Those who have FPI, QR result coming out soon.

FPI's QR is somewhat seasonal and the next QR is not going to be as good as the previous one. Can consider planning your exit and sell before end of this week.

Thank you for sharing, i'll try to take some pointers and test it. I'm still studying the ARK counters and just started with US stocks too.

IMHO, the casino mode here is not safe to hold anything for mid-long term, so i plan to slowly clear the holdings and move it to the US market.  flex.gif
*
US market in general is more overvalued than MY market...
FMs there are overweight on EM more than US equities

You can always choose not to participate in the casino-like counters and buy based on FA

Today KLEN damn strong another 3% increase.

Another catalyst for recovery counters
https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/202...chedule/1950076

.

KLTE is still +ve, carried by DATAPREP.

.

Latest observation: Operators is taking advantage of the 'tech' trend and aiming for super small cap stocks to goreng - dataprep, widetech, 'tec'guan. Widetech and tecguan are non-tech related
Pumping not only exclusive to tech - e.g. SEB, ARK, super small cap and illiquid counters, they push them up and sell to those who chase high

If you are in these counters and making money, congratulations, dont hold too long and get trapped high.

Recovery stock where got overvalued? Only tech stock with low liquidity.
*
Yeah recovery stocks are barely moving, only small cap stocks (regardless of sector) with super low liquidity are moving now.

Airasia is a gamble type for now. Cos u not sure when can they recover. But i think they are too big to fail.

And most banking stock only recover to precovid level, which is not overpriced at all. Not discounted price tho. If u wan doublr triple, not much choice here.
*
SOME recovered to pre-covid level, but then dropped back, except PBBANK and HLBBANK, recovered and dropped back but still higher than pre-covid

There are still some out there that are below pre-covid with extremely attractive valuation.

Mind to share?

About pharmaniaga, any chance to get hyped due to vaccine distribution or already priced in?
*
Pharmaniaga, if breakout chase, else should be priced in

For banks, see below. I am vested in AMBANK just saying

QUOTE(HereToLearn @ Jan 27 2021, 09:31 AM)
Go for cheap banks like ambank, rhbbank
Downside comparatively
Ambank - non KLCI, not as blue
Rhbbank - did not drop as much as ambank during this pullback, and not very far away from its precovid price (limited upside)
*
If you want quick money, follow momentum, it works perfectly until it doesnt. Just prepare to cut loss if necessary.

For MOMENTUM PLAY, can try energy, just broke out recently with very strong momentum. Tech also have very strong momentum, but it seems very high already. You most prolly have less chance to get trapped high in energy than tech.

Yeah.. tat day cimb up but dropped, now is up again lol. I still didnt buy 1 is becos it doesnt hit my tp at 3.8 😂 also because i think still can drop..

Can share which are those still undervalued but good one as reference ka?
*
The bottom for banks was on Jan 29 - 2 Feb.
BUT its ok, it is much more safer to buy on uptrend when it has broken out.

Possible catalysts:
- better than expected QRs coming out next week (due to absence of modification loss, reduction in loan loss provision, NIM normalization)
- dividend revival (AMBANK, CIMB, RHB didnt give dividend for last FY IF I remember correctly)
- Pfizer arrival? MAYBE have impact on all recovery counters, not specifically to banks

Also note that local analysts have been upgrading TPs on banks

Energy, is like oil and gas and tenaga those? Does it include renewable energy counter?

IMO, it is an expected correction, should not be considered as discount. Now, the gross rental yield is still at 3.49%, which is ridiculously low. Expecting the property market to continue its downtrend trajectory.

Glove stocks prices are falling today, maybe because of this news?

https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/hlib...aluation-method

I decided to top up some glove stocks and buy some other new glove stocks as well. This is like playing with catching a falling knife. Potential downside of another 10% or rebound 5%?  bruce.gif

Inb4 during Nov
TP will be reduced further in the upcoming months, TP is usually based on 12-18 months ahead.

Best to not hold. Unker going for a quick trade?
