this glove saga is a love-hate thing.

if u read other forums, there are as many haters as lovers.

but the fact is they r all going to report massive even obscene profits in Aug for 2Q.

only retailers playing? please... directors are still buying, big; now they say the unit trusts started to buy.

margins will stay or improve for the big ones.

why buy public bank, genting when they r counting losses?

bear in mind harta and topglove capitalization now >rm40bil each, bigger than CIMB.

u suffered from the dip becos (according to some parties), the inv banks cut margin financing, throw out bad news to drive retailers out so that they can gobble up more - can believe it or not.

as we know, the pandemic has not slowed, more gloves required, esp nitrile... china will incr production but their cost cannot beat our locals.

how long this run will last, who knows?

that, will need to read the market and the technical indicators v carefully.

for now, gloves counters are bullish.

and it is the only bright subsector for the country, for bursa.

as harta breaks 14.00 to catch up, topglove now wants to break 17.00.

maybe tmr, i think...

21 is now for harta.

plenty of chance to buy at 15-15.60 then.
but... maybank 2 june give it RM9.41 for margin valuation... only to raise to rm18 on 30 june.

e.g. just now... pfizer claims their cov19 vaccine has positive results - dow went from red to green.

as time gets nearer to 2QR, all of them agree that TP has got to be higher than they think.
becos by now, they already know more or less the PAT for 2Q.
some simple math, take even conservative P/E, u arrive at some no.
RM30? looks on the high side but never say never - if the big funds continue buying.
who else is going to make >rm1bil profit a year and growing?
for how long, we dunno.
