Oledi, but, since I hardly chase for incentive, and, their standard reply "the system is set at such" aka.....system full of bugs, u need driver to keep harassing and typing report (and imagine typing in handphone using the stupid partner apps) doh.gif

That's what I understand, queued request if not accepted won't affect acceptance rate cause it's totally beyond our control.

I oso dunolol.....wrote to them, they say yes, will affect acceptance rate, thus, impact incentive....but, I never count before lah....coz I always don't get incentive one cry.gif reason, I don't station myself in core area, and I drive whenever I feel like it cool2.gif

Is it? Must spend time to understand the incentives now, I read, seems so complicated, then, forget it.

My style is usually I start my trip from my home, which unfortunately, not in CSA cry.gif , then, depends where the rider want to go, once complete, set again back home, and 99.99% sure got request blink. Repeat till I want to stop, then, I just offline after I drop off the last rider.

One thing for sure, if you drive around in Bukit Bintang area (CSA), sure there will be request. But, problem is majority is short trip (70%), plus the traffic and going to pick up location, it really not worth it. Not to mentioned, risk being harassed by taxi (touch wood, so far, nothing bad happen, majority riders are quite street smart oso, except few dungu, mainly foreigner). Don't think will detour to that area if nearby.

i think it's better that you start from home, and once u drop a rider, wait about 10 - 15 minutes at the area u drop the rider. if there is no request, than u move to the nearest busy area and try your luck there.

if there is a rider goes to the place where is very near to your home, u can call it quits as someone has paid for your ride home.

This what usually do, start from home, then, drop rider, then, go set journey back home, usually, even without reaching home or I detour to core area (if not too far), another request come in. Want to ask you all opinion, how long usually u guys wait in busy area before request come in? Sound stupid if waiting in busy area, but, no request.

So far, my luck, happen only once, send one rider from cheras to sunway, from sunway to subang, in subang, few more request within subang, thought wanna call it off, late oledi, got final request, what to do, take lor, manatau, back to Cheras rclxm9.gif Other than that, 99% opposite direction one, best also maybe half way at kl. Then, got to quickly offline, before next request come in, else, mind unstable, dunno want to accept or not when blink biggrin.gif one side, want extra income, maybe go towards home direction, another side, tired, want go home.

if busy areas like bangsar, usually less than 10 minutes will get a request. I once ended up in shah alam and that take ages to get a ping. i eventually drive to Subang. One thing about subang is that there are lotsa students and they travel between Sunway - Subang only with lotsa short trips.

i usually wait 10-15 minutes. if no ping, i will drive off.

Just downloaded the partner payment statement, feel that tier 2 incentives is totally useless, most of time, your fare will be higher than the amount.

imagine say your home at wangsa maju, you pick up first customer go to kl sentral, then someone else there in kl sentral goes to putrajaya, then from putrajaya someone else ask to go sepang.

unlike normal taxi driver who can choose base on destination, uber (the master) dont allow uber driver (the slave) to choose which destination to fulfill, often driver will go back empty car paying double the trip/toll done. in above example, empty car bark from sepang to wangsa maju.

Very true, but, by right, taxi should not also choose base on location, but, based on where the rider want to go.....if every drivers (uber and taxi) choose go based on where they want to go, those low demand area no one will want to go, which why majority of ppl upset with taxi services.

In theory (too bad not in case for uber), the cost of ride should cover to and fro back to base. But, since taxi had lower running cost (subsidised gas, etc with exception of cut throat daily rental pay to taxi owner/ company) and higher fare, they should able to cover their cost. But, for uber, just give and take lor, seriously how often you kena trip to putrajaya or sepang?Or even to airport, which most of time, will come back empty handed, unless u decide to wait, and risk being stop by SPAD for taxi sapu/ taxi haram.

End of day, it's free economy, driver themselves do the math, do the calculation, if they think they don't make any money or not worth it, stop driving lor. Go find some other work/ job pay better. Not that they being forced to be taxi driver/ uber driver. But, never ever go buy new car just for uber/ grab full time, as then, u will really slave to pay for car installment, u have no say on fare, unsure when they decide to slash fare, government create hurdle to make driving more difficult, petrol price fluctuate, etc)

RM0.50 = ?
RM1.00 = ?
RM5.00 = ?
RM10.00 = ?
RM20.00 = ?
RM50.00 = ?
RM100.00 = ?

Thanks for the reply.
