Dunno lah, never tried before, but, this is some senior uber driver told me, how he can earn few k per week. For me, not worth sacrifice my health for it, so, didn't do it. So far, just got lucky once, drive someone to KL golden triangle during late night (I guess go party kua), then, received ping while on trip, surge 1.3 to KLIA. That time not too late lah, around 11pm-12am.....u may want to try at time 3am to 6am kua.....coz always uber said it busy hours icon_idea.gif

That's not too bad.

One month can get about RM300+. Nett off petrol cost and all, still have about RM200+, can pay Maxis and Astro.

alieamin  your assumption is definitely going to all way wrong ..

try to read mr.lowya  , what he say is is extremely true ~

and alieamin  regarding about your calculation ~ was truly all the way going wrong , you miss out some important point like acceptance rate  , and cancellation rate  . and you not yet minus the 20% commission and also another utility fee + the job you accept ( short or long distance + waiting time )  ..

assume what you say IS RIGHT .. if a GC driver nowadays can earn RM 670 by driving IN A DAY and lets take an average of RM 500 per day instead of RM 670 .. RM 500 X  4 ( i assume 4 days working only in a week  and 3 day rest ) . RM 500 x  4 days x 4 weeks .. RM 8000   whistling.gif  whistling.gif   hahahahaha .. don't bullsht please  ranting.gif

and i am sure you never work with Grab car before , you might be a rider but not driver  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

lol, who is Bullshitting here?

u claimed rm1.5k included incentive is impossible. Im just showing the calculations saying its possible. YES it is gross income have not been deduct all the costing.

u think i tok kok here? below are my proof that im genuine driver for both platform, tried both and i conclude GC is more profitable, Of course u have to meet the terms n condition to entitle incentive. Im not saying u can simply get rm600 perday, but its possible, just maintain csa area, acceptance rating and also cancellation rate as u mentioned, also ur rating 4.2 above. These is not hard to maintain.

How many km? Don't forget to add in your car service/ maintenance yeah icon_idea.gif coz the extra km u drive for uber, mean you need to send it your car for service/ maintenance more frequent. console.gif

Mine, used to be once every 4 months, now once every 2 months (5k km interval).

Drove Preve CFE auto. Half of the earn goes to petrol  cry.gif
Part time drive btw 6:30pm - 12:30am weekdays & 3 petrol bars gone(RM30) + RM20 tng top up. Average only can earn 70 - 90. Only once reach 120(airport trip + return customer) Lowest RM49.70) cry.gif

Not sure if I really need to continue this or not. Sacrifice my gold weekend with family just to cover my weekday cost.  doh.gif

Try topping it up with additional services. Use Uber to get contacts and expand your network. Providing coding, web design, interior designing, resume writing services, preparing business proposals, translation skills, tuition, insurance, financial planning etc. Opportunities are out there, use it to your advantage.

TBH, income from Uber is peanuts. The real benefit is in the business opportunities that follow.
