QUOTE(ieian81 @ May 12 2016, 04:24 PM) May I suggest if you an existing Uber Partner, and you are dishing out tips or pointers or advice to new Partners here, do state the number of lifetime trips you have accumulated to date and also your current rating please. My stats... I have read some ridiculous ones here and I am afraid you are 'teaching' new Partners the wrong stuff. I know there are people who did way more trips than me and earn more too. |

QUOTE(Alique @ May 13 2016, 02:47 PM) Based on your this week income. Higher income, higher tier. Cannot remember jor....my personal view, no point go chase after those GH, all bullshit, unless you really plan to drive, and your start location is really there. No doubt the core area will have higher demand, but, majority is short distance, that's why uber compensate you with GH. If long distance, then, you get nothing other than actual fare. Don't forget you incurred additional petrol to drive to the core area |

Been doing Grab for the past 3 days, following are my findings:
pros: - jobs come in quite easily - fare significantly higher than Uber - mostly cash based - the trips mainly focus at one area (puchong to puchong; rarely go other place) cons: - foreigners mostly - system not automatic like Uber (requires manual work) - not enough information to help drivers (no tell how much money collected, need to calculate manually or wait for statement) - busy area too small or limited |

QUOTE(jacky91 @ May 15 2016, 11:04 PM) both are neither safe...as long as the taxi drivers continue to be like monkeys. burgersmeal driving for uber is safer than GC.There are ways people can teach you to prevent conflict, but still, there are risks no matter what. hence i quit GC for good and concentrate on Uber. reason is simple: 1. taxi drivers are more keen with GC than Uber. 2. GC, picks up anyone.. this includes africans, bangla, nepal, myanmar, pinoys, india etc. 3. 90% of africans that took GC will ask you to avoid roadblocks 4. high percentage of africans is doing drugs (regardless the gender), this however if you got caught in roadblocks.. they can simply stash their drugs in ur car and accuse that its your. 4.1. to avoid this, simply dont pick up any africans (or my network always refer them as "FRAN") 5. small percentage of pinoys do drugs (the male) as the female is safe to drive around. i kena tahan before (long time ago) while driving 4 indians national (theyre legal and can speak good english). yet, the polis still tahan us for 30-40 mins on the roadside.. as i said before, drive smart. oh btw, uber's rate is better than GC now |
