Perhaps you should write in to Uber. I would think it should be RM75+RM140 excluding tolls.Uber Partner Resource Centre & FAQ, Partners welcomed to share!

QUOTE(sanzaru @ Jun 6 2016, 04:32 PM) I assume the RM158 is just the fare, excluding tolls. So if the fare is RM158, nett to driver will be RM158-20%= RM126.40 Petrol cost 20% of RM126.40 = RM26.00 plus petrol down from Genting say another RM14.00 total RM40.00 Karak Toll on the way back = RM6.00 plus give you another RM2.50 on the Duke to get you back to CSA. Say this trip contribute another RM20 to your car service. Total cost = RM40+RM8.50+RM20 = RM68.50 RM126.40 - RM68.50 = RM 57.90 Assuming you drive slowly, entire trip from KLIA to Genting and back down takes 3 hours, you still nett RM19.30 per hour. How is that worst then working in McDonald's? I will be happy making RM19.30 nett per hour just driving. |

I am not driving for GC. -total cost 88-57.90= 30.10 /3 hrs 30.10/3=10.03/hrs will u still b happy doing it? GC you can chose not to accept the trip right since you already know the destination. |

QUOTE(iOnine @ Jun 7 2016, 09:26 AM) Monday - Sunday 11.59pm I believe it's Monday 4am. then it'll reset. you are suppose to ask for RM2. even if its RM1.10, you suppose to ask RM2. if its an insult, whats the purpose of you doing Uber? What's so insulting about receiving RM2 anyway? Its still a transaction. And from my experience, the Mat Sallehs are the most polite and courteous. 'Thank you for coming' 'Thank you for sharing your car with me ' |

QUOTE(juicyliana @ Jun 7 2016, 12:01 PM) u must remember that not every time and everyone gets a KLIA request trip. there are times when a partner doesn't get any KLIA trip in a single week. Just share something with you guys. if you go to the uber partner support FB page, u can see those drivers willing to fetch riders to KLIA rather than subang airport. Of course if in a day, if the partner gets 2 to 3 KLIA trips, he will be very happy. by then he will say this job pays better than his office job. There's a cause and effect for Uber drivers wan. Trip 1 will lead you to Trip 2 will lead you to Trip 3, and so on. I noticed there a few partners here who complained about a lot of things, and choose to cancel trip because need to pay toll la, too far la, etc. So if it's fated for you to get a 'good' trip after the 'bad' trip, you won't get it because you chose to cancel the bad trip. I have done 1000+ trip, and I have never had a bad week. A bad day maybe, but it all evens out. Just drive la, good or bad, short or far, and all the trips will even out. You will get good, u will get bad. Win some lose some. Problem arises if we feel victimized all the time and develop that sense of entitlement. QUOTE(akh2920 @ Jun 7 2016, 03:13 PM) How was the experience to drive at night? Safe? Any experience sharing? I so far drive all day time only, scare scare @@ Day and Night are the same. You will probably get more cash trips at night if you are in KL. Different profile of riders. Don't drive beyond 12am if worried, lower chances of getting drunk rider. Just a quick real time sharing with you guys for encouragement.
I wanted to go home and rest at 3pm earlier cause have been driving since 7am and wanted to avoid the Ramadan traffic. Got hailed from Bandar Utama (BU12) when I was nearing the LDP, so made u turn and picked up a rider and sent her to 1 Utama. Bad trip right? After that got hailed from One World Hotel and sent two Brits to KLIA. Cash trip. And gave RM30 tips. So, moral of the story is, just take every trip and dont complain, good things will come if you just work hard. |

QUOTE(iOnine @ Jun 8 2016, 01:44 PM) Yes, I struggled for that as well yesterday cause got a long trip that took an hour. I suppose if you get short trips can get easily during those hours. If you can't hit 1.25 means got long trips, which you probably don't need the guarantee anyway. |

QUOTE(propusers @ Jun 8 2016, 02:12 PM) let's talk numbers. To a jobless man, it's worth it even if it's RM5 per hour. try to target at least RM25/hour gross fare (paid by Uber to your account) if can't get RM25/hour gross, not worth it... my2c. So all this 'worth it or not' opinions are pretty subjective. |

QUOTE(iOnine @ Jun 8 2016, 02:42 PM) My strategy different from yours, I chase the nett in the app, not the PHG. To each his own la I suppose. In the future, even if they take away the PHG, at least I know my income from my driving pattern won't be affected much la I suppose. |
