Any update on the project of Vopak and Dialog in Pengerang Johor? Who is EPC for the tanks Phase 2?

I presently have a fantastic opportunity available based in KL for Senior Production Technologist, due to the reduction in oil price this is one of the few positions which have arisen over the past 12 months. The position is on behalf of a reputable operator and they are keen to locate a Malaysian national to fill the position.

The position will involve providing production technology expertise to the Exploration and Petroleum Engineering department to deliver production targets through well surveillance, intervention planning and supporting well and completion design. Some of the key skills which I am looking for include:

• Providing Production Technology expertise to multidisciplinary team’s
• Ensure technical quality of Production Technology inputs
• Maintain compliance to Well Integrity Policy and be accountable for well integrity
• Update FDP and development plan and develop recommendations
• Provide support for exploration and development activities

The mandatory requirements for this position are:

• Honors degree in Petroleum Engineering
• At least 10+ years of operated Production Technology
• Prior experience with input into the Field Development Planning process
• Prior experience in producing assets, implementing WRFM plans, operational rig support, well integrity and well lifecycle management.
• Deep water experience is an advantage

what happen to aker?

Aker was suppose to execute the subsea order from Petronas & Murphy for FLNG2 project but since it has been put on hold... What else Aker can do right now?

Aker has many division under its wing, and all they do right now is doing tendering jer - for MMO division.

I spoke to my close headhunter contact few days before Raya, Aker is looking for Malaysian BD Manager to expanding their MMO business, one of the requirement is to have a strong 15-20 years working experience, and most important thing is to have a very close relationship with Petronas.

If you ask me for subsea & fabrication & floater division in Aker for Malaysia operation right now, it is dead...
