Yamb is an easy to use program
recommended for beginners mp4box needs to type so its more work unless you love to type the commands  |

VCD uses MP2 and only 1 audio source
the 2 sounds is due to 2 mono sound channels You focus all your sound to 1 end ler |

What video stream is that mkv using?
I assume its AVC If thats the case, u need to use MeGUI to open it |
