I have windows media video file WMV and I want to convert it to DVD disk.

I use winavi to convert it to DVD format and I use nero 7 to burn using Make DVD video. That Nero needs to trancoding it again and take 5 hours to trancoding...

Got any faster way to convert and burn to DVD? Coz I need it to complete the 4.7GB WMV by 7pm.....

Well if u mean direct stream copy(no conversion is done), its impossible since there is no Real vfw codecs for avi

Actually I have a few in my lists but is not freeware...

hi wanna ask...

i use virtualdub to add subtitles on *.avi files..after that i use Xvic mpeg4 codec to compress the files...later i use nero 6 to convert the files to vcd..

but the results is bad...is i did something wrong? or should i use another software to convert the avi files to vcd?

Aiks I believe mediacoder and super, both also can perform a/v conversion from any container to avi, of course including sound, and both program also are free too.
well avi can contain almost any a/v formats, which format u wan?
