Can anyone here post their CPU temp after using Noctua?

My Noctua fan show 800RPM without the ULTA cable connect? Should't it be 1200RPM?
*
You can check out my temp at Air Cooling Thread there...mine running more than 1200rpm, sometime even go up to 1300rpm++ (mostly during hot weather or during load) icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Mar 5 2007, 11:51 AM)
The best Push-Pull effect is to have a wind tunnel effect. A higher pressure CFM fan should be located at the Pull (Rear) side. In short, the difference in air pressure movement will create Vacumn Pulling like effect to expel the hot air to the back case fan. In general, that's to say :

Pressure:  (case rear fan) > (pull fan) > (push fan).

Then it will create a gradual pulling air movement effect.

If you are having a rear 12cm case fan,and you intend to use a single fan configuration,  it should be of a higher pressure than the 1 placed on the HSF. To increase air movement efficiency, a semi closed shroud should be constructed from the rear of the HSF directly to the rear case fan.
*
ic...so let say I use Noctua NH-S12-1200 (80CFM++ (not sure is this the correct value) as push, FM-121(110CFM) as pull, and then use NMB (like the one in your sig there which have 118CFM) at rear casing there, then it will have gradual pulling air movement effect right? unsure.gif

This morning I reapply the Noctua promotion items as they did not send me any email after I apply last time, to be my suprise, I found an email telling me the items being sent today when I open my Outlook Express after I reach home from work... thumbup.gif nice job Noctua... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif notworthy.gif

NH-U12F is with one FAN or two? if one, do I have the option to order with 2nd unit of fan?

Edit: Please reply via PM. Might miss out this thread.

Err... It is the first time I heard something like that. Can you double check that it really running at 1200rpm? If it is indeed running at that speed, I will get a replacement for you. Anyway, please test it out. Thanks and sorry.

For those who wanted to join the extended warranty program, ive jus got this mail from noctua support, best service ive ever encountered. thumbup.gif

Hi,

As a matter of fact, the Extended Warranty Program has been created for the NH-U12 and NH-U9 coolers which came with a 3 years warranty. The NH-U12F already comes with a full 6 years warranty, so there's no real need to join the program. I can also assure you that we treat all warranty issues as obliging as possible, so it's no problem that you've got no invoice.

Best Regards,
Jakob Dellinger

Hi,
I've bought one of your product, NH-U12F CPU-cooler, I would like to join the extended warranty program. But the problem is, I bought your product from a forumer, and I don't have any invoice or receipt on hand. M I still available for the extended warranty program?

Thank you.

Truly,
KT

I just check the fan... it is 1200rpm... Intel QST actually slow the fan speed....

I emailed their tech support and receive their email in few hours time....they ask me to look on top of the fan for the speed rating...

Nice support
