I went to Giant USJ 1 to apply VOX card, the agent print out my EPF statement and i just need to sign the application form.

But for my gf, she is new customer, I asked her to take the Lady card, but i see the agent tick Lady Plat and One Plat on the form, i asked why, he said need take both cards (Master + Visa), I ask why plat, he said plat better cos cash back cap higher ma, i wonder whether my gf salary qualify for plat.
And the agent mentioned to get the luggage, need to sub the lady card, so she sub to me. So total 3 cards (2 main+1 sub) just for my gf. doh.gif  doh.gif

Since he mentioned free 2 years annual fee and 3rd year call to waive, then it still worth the try.

Rather than ticking the less useful PRIV or Preferred Plat. laugh.gif
I think UOB One Plat requirement is just 36k or 48k, cannot recall.

I hope you have the black and white mentioning about the free AF waiver...

Can, why not? Cannot apply as principal only. laugh.gif

Ah ha, so it was reduced to 36k now. When I applied back in 2014 was 48k or 60k, not sure.

Eh, I remember a CS once told me can't.

But then again, dealing with UOB is a pain.

After so many phone calls only I manage to get someone smart to call me back.

Screw her kaw kaw only I see some action in my complaints.
*
Hehe. I don't know liao. Even as a female, I'm not interested in the Lady Card yet. laugh.gif

Well, who knows you will get the TWG voucher like I do? tongue.gif

Lady's card only got 1 useful function for me.

Auto EPP for better cash flow.

Other than that, it's a scrap card.

I think they need to give me more than TWG voucher Liao.

Their level of screw up cost me more than a hundred or so :/

May I have a quick check if UOB Vox 5% CB is based on transaction date or posting date?
I have 4 transactions done at end Nov and posted in Dec. They were not counted neither in Nov or Dec CB.
I have called to CS and spoken to them 3 times. They tried to calculate but at the end need to escalate to management and will take 4 biz days to check and revert. Maybe lyn will have quicker answer tongue.gif
I also asked them to pin point to me where in TnC stated the rule. I will update here when they reverted.

P.S. All transactions were online above rm50 and the same merchant transactions gotten CB before.
*
I thought it was transaction date but it is good that you go and find out. I have not done any transaction that falls into such tricky situation yet. laugh.gif

Just checked my transaction, bought from an Australian store. It costs AUD 139.85 and after conversion and forex charges is MYR 430.28. cry.gif

Actual conversion rate is only around MYR 415. It better makes sure I get back cash back, at least it makes up a bit. laugh.gif

nothing wrong asking if not asked before. not everybody will automatically post their findings here. sometimes they just need a little prompting.

Also nothing wrong for me to say that it is updated on first post. So, do your part and contribute it. Educate each other and always refer to first post.
Why so offensive?

Hi. I received a call from UOB stated that my VOX card is on the way. May I confirm with expert here again, for the RM 50 cash back...
1)it is base on calendar month.
2)must spend RM 50 and above online each transaction
3)spend once in a calendar month to offset the AF
4) cash back is base on transaction date
Correct me if I am wrong...

What is the minimum amount spend to get Max RM 50 cash back? Eg WISe card spend 985 (instead of 1000) to get max cash back. PBB VS spend 834 to get max cash back.
*
Yes for the above.
Nope, only can spend RM1k to get RM 50 as it calculates accurately on the cash back with decimal and all. smile.gif

Planning to get a One Card just for petrol, anyone seen UOB booth around KL to apply it?
the rebates for the card seems good

Refer to this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1916038/
UOB One has AF and some sales agents promised 2 to 3 years of AF waiver but suggest you get a black and white from them.

Would like to share on UOB credit card payment, total outstanding is payable to one credit card, and it can be auto set-off against all other card you holding in the same credit limit.

Exmaple:
2 card under the same credit limit. (One Card & Vox Card)
One card total outstanding RM1000
Vox card total outstanding RM 500
Total Outstanding RM1500, payment via GIRO from other banks can be made to one particular credit card account as a lump sum.

UOB have a auto set-off against all other card.

(Disclaimer: Do call up CS to confirm the auto set-off on other card)
*
Why don't just split the payment via GIRO to save the trouble of calling CS? unsure.gif

I posted some time ago about this. It's called auto portion feature something. As for myself, even though both of my Uob cards shared the same statement, I prefer to pay separately. Depends on individual. 11 cents won't harm.
*
I think I saw forummers posted here before where they allocated wrong payment and caused the other card no payment or short of payment, then with penalty. Not sure if my understanding is correct or not. sweat.gif
I will manually pay my bills myself. laugh.gif
That said I only have UOB VOX. laugh.gif

Apply uob vox on 20 jan via branch agent, called uob around 27/28 jan and still not in system.
Called agent and she said already submitted, need to have around 2 weeks processing time.

3rd feb agent inform me that my application returned because of IC not clear and ask me to send her IC via email and she help me submit again and i have to wait another 2 weeks processing time again. Somemore CNY is around the timing. I wonder when I can have some verification call from uob for some proceess on my application.

Is it normal that uob new application processing time take so much time?
*
I applied via registered my interest online and one agent called me the next day. Excellent service who helped me to follow up thoroughly.
Got my card within 3 weeks I think.

Seems like apply via online have better processing time.
All document are submitted via email during the process, right?

I will try it if there still no update by 18 feb.
*
Yes, a real human agent will call you to confirm that you registered the interest online. Then after that will contact you via email for the necessary. biggrin.gif
