this question has puzzled a lot of people. but not me. biggrin.gif

there is no need for id/password.

iflix auto detects - once it detects unifi, qualified, subscription valid (or still free), it just work.

tm stb - dunno.

android box - some work, some don't... like aotg, hypp e'where.

works fine with smart tv, tablet and phone - all auto detect if on valid unifi, ethernet or wifi.

iflix - TM unifi no login credential account t really troublesome the users.
whenever I am using mobile data during travel, it will not detect my account and sometimes even ask me to create free trial account with telco (Maxis. Digi)

end up, i asked iflix support to transfer my subscription to my email ID instead.

Thanks for pointing this out. A more workable alternative than having to deal with the occasional failure to detect the TM account.

this is a question asked by many and for some time now.

in the beginning.....iflix works on ALL devices - boxes, pc's included.

then, it changed. it starts to detect and reject some devices.

those "approved free" will auto work, no need for anything - as long as it detects unifi (or streamyx).

my current status - works (auto) with android phone, android tablet, android smart tv; does not work with pc windows, my box.

i believe the login, etc. are meant for those with paid subscription or non-unifi/tm users.

ya, it gets unpredictable when using these "casts" for diff apss with different tablets and phones.

best is certainly direct app in smart tv.

Iflix new version 2.17.0-2825.

If after update, u see request for email n password, just exit, wait a minute of 2, go back in.

If u r unifi customer with free subscription, it will auto detect, no need to do anything else.
