hi all,
Ive been browsin tru the most of threads regardin lomo cams. Consider of buyin either Lomo LCA + or Holga 120CFN, but headache on which one to choose wif. Both also are good cameras, but LCA + is really really expensive (950rm) compared to Holga(290rm)~ is it worth to buy LC A+ over Holga??? is worth for the price?? What r da main differences between these two? i like the LC A+ size over Holga, and heard it has alots better function and build quality too? Is anyone know any website that provides all the learning how to use Film LomoCam? im totally Nerd of film stuf.. sighs. Please adviseee.. Thanks~! |

QUOTE(nerwen @ Jul 7 2008, 04:41 PM) I bought fisheye2 last year and still frustrated with the pixx outcome. I dun know how they got all those vividly colored pixx. Is it anything to do with the pixx processing? Here is the decent pixx I took using fisheye2 in Redang. Decent but dissapointing lah...not brightly, vividly colored like those I see in lomo websites. Those effect is process using slide films with cross process techniquehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/wac...misc/sandal.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/wac...ta/misc/sea.jpg What to do to take better pixx??? |

QUOTE(Kineroslomo @ Jul 13 2008, 10:43 PM) hi all, i personally feel that its worth buying LC A+, its capture sharper images plus the brilliance of the saturated colours which really make it worth getting it (i'm going to get it next month). but the other camera which are similar to LCA is probably the olympus XA 2 which is kinda close to the LCA+, but it doesn't vignette as heavy as LCA minitar lenses does, plus you can get those camera off ebay for much cheaper price. Thanks~! holga 120 is medium format and it give more of a vintage feel under certain situation, the light leak could be a bonus too but it's random so be weary, tho you can fix that by taping it. i recalled reading somewhere at flickr dicussion, there are still a number of ppl who uses holga medium format for wedding photoshoot due to its vintage yet romantic feel out from the medium format. |

QUOTE(Kineroslomo @ Jul 20 2008, 10:17 PM) To Tomzy, well dont give up yet... apparently some ppl who purchased it have this issue too, either you can ignore it like what anthrax33 recommended or you can send it back to the shop to claim warranty. meanwhile you can try using 26 roll film first as its less tighter than the 36 roll film. Thanks for your feedback~! QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Jul 9 2008, 05:45 PM) you can check at all Folio or Room shops around malaysia..here is the address of those shops: CODE http://www.lomographyasia.com/shop/offline/ actually, sometimes if you buy from those shops, they are not ready stock, so,it should take times to order it.. Happy Lomoing... |

hmmm... i m still contemplating between holga, smena and a diana (without hotshoe, original version)
Can anyone advice me on my choices? Seems like processing for 120 films is quite expensive here, a 16 shot can cost about rm21 to process. That really deters me, and if i use a 35mm on a holga and diana, i dun get the vignette effect i wanted.. hmm.. |
