what's the most standard pricing for a lomo starter?
if it's ok, i want to get this instead of a DSLR.
using a ixus, and it's quite boring . . . . taking normal photos.

They price are ranging from RM200-1k, its all depends on which camera you prefer. I suggest you do a bit more research on the camera and take a look at some photos at flickr.com to suit your personal taste.

Here's the list of lomo camera.

Lomo LC-A+
Holga
Actionsampler
Frogeye
Pop-9
Oktomat
Fisheye
Fisheye2
Colorsplash
F-stop Bang
SuperSampler
Horizon 202
Seagull TLR
Smena 8mm
Diana+
Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim
Olympus XA, XA2
Cosina CX-1, CX-2

There are some more brand out there just do a google search online, hope that will help you enough.

I bought fisheye2 last year and still frustrated with the pixx outcome. I dun know how they got all those vividly colored pixx. Is it anything to do with the pixx processing? Here is the decent pixx I took using fisheye2 in Redang. Decent but dissapointing lah...not brightly, vividly colored like those I see in lomo websites.

i think Basheer Bookshop is the only one selling, other than that you'll have to order online.
here somebody doing a lomo bulk for LYN here!
