Except price, why wont buy from Mi Msia? I thought most hp also got their own battery saving mode? My old HTC flagship has it but the battery still dont last long, unless i turn on extreme which also stop my internet usage.. so with those saving plan, the battery still okay??
What do you mean by hogging fuctions? Does it mean out 3gb, maybr 2gb ram is usable compared to other hp maybe can fully utilise 3gb?? Yout mi 5 got that issue? Claimed warranty??
You bought one mi 5? Ur review?
I see, with battery saving, can it last for a day?? If value battery a lot, should you try Leagoo Shark 1 at RM999?? I like Mi 5 cos its written spec, weight n thickness, but not surr if it can perform as per thr written spec..
Most phone battery saver mode practically just off internet, wifi, Bluetooth etc. Mi one is different. It will slow down the processor. If you are like me, light user (whatsapp, sms, call, taking picture only), you won't feel a difference in usage. You will get one extra day of usage by using power saving mode. This is for mi3. I don't own a mi5 yet but will most likely get it 6 months later. You can even boost the mi5 battery life by setting the alarm clock and OFF the phone before sleeping. The phone will wake up. No android can do this yet not even nexus. Even without the battery saving mode, it can last 90+ hours on standby according to GSMArena. Other blog also mentioned it's awesome battery life.
All phones/laptop/computer won't be ultilise the full RAM cause the system needs it. People complain that mi eats up a lot of RAM (more than nexus, sony). But when you are looking at them, they are basically skeletons so of course they are faster. Never like vanila andoid. Too plain. There's no nice useful feature.
So far, all blogs give good review for mi5. The only complain is the camera. Camera doesn't match the marketing specs but is still decent.
Keep in mind that if you are like me don't care about updates, mi is good as it won't slow you down even after 2 years of usage (light user here). If updates is really important to you, look elsewhere as you won't get the latest android.
