QUOTE(rko1268 @ Feb 17 2016, 10:10 AM) Guys pls suggest me good flavouring tank for begineer. I like kayfun fivepawn but i heard that is was quite hard to recoil. Everything's relative. A tank which is hard to recoil for some may be easy for others. Everyone makes mistakes, and if you're willing to invest some time and effort in learning, coiling/wicking practice and experimentation, the rewards can be most satisfying. There is no straight and easy answer. Every RTA out there takes varying levels of effort to rebuild. Let's be blunt....it's worth sweating a bit to make our tastebuds happy. Kayfun five pawns is good for flavor and you can start off with a single coil build. After you gain confidence, then try a double barrel nano coil build if you like a hot vape. Goblin mini is good too, especially with nickel coils in TC mode (and quad nano coils on it can turn a mediocre budget juice into something rather good). As mulut99 pointed out earlier, Goblin mini v2 is coming. It has top fill capability...I'll be getting one for sure! |

QUOTE(sayming @ Feb 17 2016, 08:30 PM) Any good recommendation for small sized mods now? Consider the Joyetech Cuboid. Am looking to that for my next mod. It's only slightly broader and taller than an evic mini, but takes 2 batteries.Never really follow the market already so dont know whats new and hot now. Sizes like ipvd2 and subox mini. Any good recommendation? QUOTE(kelvinling @ Feb 17 2016, 10:58 PM) What cheap sales are u offering? |

QUOTE(94brian @ Feb 18 2016, 11:03 AM) kanthal power mode vs ti01 tc...which 1 you guys prefer? Just a bit to add to duke_hunt's good post #1235...my opinion kanthal is easy to build while titanium is really super duper pain in the ass as it so springy i had to torch it few time and had to watch out if it burn too hot which not good for health. so kanthal is winner here. flavor wise, kanthal is ok but titanium is almost 1 times better than kanthal, almost like licking the juice,i suspected it was spitting but its not. so titanium is the winner. rewicking, again kanthal is super easy to clean and rewick while titanium is the pain in the ass again cuz if not careful enough the coil would bend, and some said its not recommended to wash it with water but just to brush it with toothbrush. i just hope that titanium can be as easy as kanthal, that would be super perfect Re: springy Ti...yes indeed it is springy. Get a good pair of flat-jaw pliers and pull the wire very VERY tight when coiling. There will still be some springback, but it can be generally negated if you use a mandrel that's 0.5mm smaller than your intended coil diameter (eg use a 2.5mm mandrel to make 3mm coils, 1.5mm mandrel to make 2mm coils so on and so forth). I use 28 gauge Ti and don't have much problem making 3mm diameter coils that way. |

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Feb 18 2016, 12:28 PM) hi guys any tips of using a dripper? If your cotton is burning too easily, you may have to make a slightly looser cotton wick (too tight and the juice is slower to get to the coil). But the moment you feel your vape is getting dry, just drip more juice in. You'll get used to estimating when to drip in due time. And you may wish to try temperature control (if your mod has the function, and you have the proper wires for that feature).i just bought a velocity rda and love it. the problem is compared to wick, cotton burns easily and when u're using dripper, u do not know how many juice left and end up getting burned taste. so is it ok if once u get the burned taste, u drip more juice? will it affect the juice taste afterwards? For very slight burns, it should be no problem to just drip in more juice and continue vaping. However if you have the time and cotton+scissors handy, it's best to make a fresh wick. Mini rant (not directed at anyone in the forum): I've seen people just keep on toking on a moderately burned wick even though the materials are on the table to rewick...dunno how they can tahan the burnt taste. If one is using an expensive juice (say RM75/30ml), that's RM2.50/ml. Assume the juice's density makes for 18 drops per ml, that's approx 14sen PER DROP. A properly wicked velocity can take at least 8 drops with some pooling in the well. 8 drops = approximately RM1.12. IMO it's worth the effort and the very minimal cost of 2 strips of cotton to rewick the atty, and get to taste the proper (unburnt) flavor that one has paid for. |

Any idea of its price and does it come with a tank? Full set evic mini with tank RM100; listed on their facebook Murah Lagi poster. This is not the newer version that comes with the Tron tank. https://www.facebook.com/vapeitmalaysia/ |

QUOTE(Hamsom @ Feb 19 2016, 02:51 PM) Im waiting for TristanX brew to reach here and if vapew is sending me one. If you need testers you can send me one too. I prefer the banana. But my taste is more to Banana Milk. If you have that would be great. andyng38 Still wonder how does yours taste. I have a different style of testing new flavors. My victims...err...tasters are chosen from ppl I meet face-to-face. Vaping experience, no business association with competitors, personal flavor preferences and brutal honesty are the main criteria.#supportlokal They're first given one or two juices which are 100% not so good. If I hear negative comments, I know I've got a good and forthright taste-tester. If I see the chap's face screw up in disgust, that's even better! They're then given samples of juices (which I know are rather good) to try. All comments are duly noted. I tell them to take the samples home and vape them over 2 or 3 days, and then comment again. So far I'm doing OK Comment from my latest recruit: |

QUOTE(sayming @ Feb 19 2016, 07:01 PM) AFAIK, no clones of this mod.If you do low ohm vaping (eg below 0.3ohms) at higher wattage, you'll be better off with a 2 battery mod because the evic's single battery won't last long. But if you don't mind carrying around spare batteries, or build at higher ohms (like 0.5 and up), no worries. Me is fedup with swapping batteries...I want a Cuboid!! |

QUOTE(sayming @ Feb 19 2016, 07:23 PM) Yeah I know what you mean...I've a bulky IPV4s too, which will be replaced by the Cuboid in due time QUOTE(6oLsh0i_6o0z3 @ Feb 19 2016, 08:40 PM) Evic-VTC Mini? there is a clone (styled) on FT, not sure whether it has reached over here or not yet. *major facepalm!* Fasttech 1 Fasttech 2 Ah well...I guess they'll clone anything that's a hot seller. Thanks for the info. sayming in light of this new info, if you still want an evic mini, better to buy it at a real physical shop, not online so you can test it out first. In the ori evic mini, when it is off, click the fire button 20 times and the firmware version will show up on screen. Hopefully the clone doesn't have this feature too. |

QUOTE(snake1983 @ Feb 19 2016, 11:41 PM) Glad to be back to Kelle, going meet trist tomorrow I was under the impression that the silver version is not painted, just metal hence it can become a fingerprint magnet.Vaping scene in Penang still not popular enough though. Yeah welcome onboard bud, but you might want to reconsider for the silver one. I saw a guy using the silver version. seem like the paint quite easily leave marks and scratches. But who cares about that anyway right Maybe you saw the grey paint version instead....or the one you saw was silver, but had not been well-cared for. Anyways I'll find out for sure when I actually hold one in my hands. |

QUOTE(kelvinling @ Feb 20 2016, 12:02 AM) i want volunteer to be the mysterious judge. Now you know how good it can be when you use quality bases, flavorings and additives. Toss in a good recipe, mix with proper hygiene, care and passion. Gently tweak it if necessary...less is often more! Lovingly breathe, agitate and steep your juices. You and anybody else who has the inclination to brew can get very good results too. QUOTE(snake1983 @ Feb 20 2016, 12:22 AM) If it was silver, then there isn't any paint to flake or scratch. QUOTE(snake1983 @ Feb 20 2016, 05:25 PM) such refreshing juice won't drunk one. ahha Good to know. If it's a very thin piece of plastic, that's probably the temporary screen protector. Keep it on as long as you can. The ipv 4s also had one. Hmm...maybe yours is still in place! I've got various leftover screen protectors from former phones...will try to cut to the Cuboid's screen size (when I finally get one).@andy just found out the cuboid screen cover with a layer of protector LOL, so don't worry the screen will get scratches etc. Fml I didn't notice there is a screen protector. |

QUOTE(94brian @ Feb 20 2016, 05:41 PM) any here used Crius v3 rta before? I've only spent less than 5min playing with a friend's Crius. If your flavor is still muted, try opening up the juice flow control a bit more and increasing the temperature. Any hot legs/traces of scaling on yr Ti coil?my previous tank Billow v2,ti01 28 gauge 10 wraps, about .3 ohm, the flavor seems to be tons better than crius. i builded 7 wraps spaced on Crius about .2 ohm,the flavor is muted,i tried less and more cotton,i din't fit the whole cotton into juice hole, just tuck in slightly...any suggestion? gonna try 10 wraps micro just like my Billow tonight later see if any better. really like the crius velocity deck,so easy to build and rewick as well |

QUOTE(94brian @ Feb 22 2016, 02:26 PM) Spare parts for attys are tough to find. The screw callout for the Billow according to several forums is M2x.4x4mm.Options: U can try your luck at hobby shops near you which sell remote control toys; sometimes they stock micro screws. Or try your luck calling Vision Fasteners Sdn. Bhd. I don't know if .5 pitch will fit your posthole threading (assuming said threading is still in good shape). QUOTE(vNistelrooy @ Feb 24 2016, 01:34 PM) Hi guys, anyone know how to calculate wraps for clapton wires? http://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz.aspusually i use steam-engine, i.e. i have 24ga kanthal and 3mm inner diameter, i want 0.8 ohms, it will tell me i have to do a 7 wrap. anywhere i can find this mechanism for claptons? im interested to buy one at legadgets. 26ga+32ga thanks Input your target build in the "Coil setup" section. Look at the "Wire builder" section. Select "Clapton" from the drop-down menu. Input the rest of the required data. NB don't overlook the gear icon (it's a bit obscure) in the "Clapton wire" section; input zero if you're not using spaced wire. Then you simply increase and decrease the number of wraps in the "Coil setup" section and see how your resistance changes. |
