DIY VG extracts currently steeping: Sabah vanilla, Madagascar vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, star anise, clove, toasted almond, coconut, limau kapas, orange, lemon grass.

Upcoming extracts: cacao nibs, salak, tarap and whatever else I happen to come across biggrin.gif

I had some leftover vanilla pods, so I made a simple syrup using water, white and brown sugar with a pinch of Himalayan rock salt, 1 Madagascar and 1 Sabah vanilla pod. Just used the syrup in a cup of nescafe...FOOYUHH! drool.gif The aroma is so-so only...but the taste is really wonderful. If I can find Tahitian vanilla, its stronger aroma will make an even better vanilla blend.

Pic of syrup cooling down in sterilized jar.

No la, trying to think out of the box. Doing the math in my brain, it will either turn out pretty exotic or disgusting. But I do aware of fakes as well as most of the seller who sell small quantity is those middle east vendor around Jalan Bukit Bintang  bangwall.gif

You're thinking of vaping gaharu's essential oils??? Tread cautiously. I think it may be a no-go.

Had agarwood been vapable/smokable, the middle-easterners would have used it for shisha long ago; but then I've never shished a shisha and stuck to succulent shishkebabs instead. Maybe you can ask around to see whether there is an oudh shisha. If there is such a thing, then there may be a chance u can make a vape of it.

Where to buy original 18650... Current batery feel one kind only..
*
Bought 6 pcs LG HG2 from AlexNg of Shopee. All working as well as the older ones I got from physical shops (Vape empire, a friend's vape shop and one more place I can't remember the name of), and better than Joe Nida's shiny wrap "HG2" batts.

Thanks bro
But mine is ori Kayfun v4.
Can use if I buy the tabeco clone parts?
*
Because I did not know if u had the ori or clone, I gave 2 links: the Lelong link is to the ori glass, while the Altsmo link is for the tobeco glass.

As for Altsmo's spare parts, they will only fit the tobeco clone.

If u r in KL and need other spare parts (besides the glass), try Hyper Vape in Sg Wang. They are very helpful indeed.

If you don't mind the wait, can order spare parts for the ori v4 from Fasttech: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/1001191...4-rta-atomizers

Im planning to buy smok tfv4 from VE site to be pair up with my current subox mini mod..

May i know if this tank like leak a lot? And is the taste production excellent for 9mg creamy flavor?
*

I don't see the TFV4 in VE's online shop today, but they do stock the TFV4 Mini. You may face issues if your coil resistance is too low; the Subox mini can't handle it. 50W of power may not be enough for you as well. Dual claptons or a 3/4/6 coil occ usually requires more power.

If you are still referring to the TFV4, it is a tank for intermediate vapers, not beginners. However if you have a bit of patience, you can learn to wick it right...it just takes some practice.
Wick it wrong and it will leak away happily.
Get a unit with extra-burry internal threads on the base section, the deck's o-ring will be chewed up and it will leak.
If the air pressure goes from 1014hPa to 998hPa in under a minute, it will leak. (I'm serious.)

The TFV4 is a medium between getting lots of clouds and some decent flavor. If flavor is your priority, then you'll want the TFR2 dual coil RBA to go with it. However IMO you'll get better flavor with cooler vape and longer battery life on a kayfun or mini goblin.

However if you DIY juices, the TFV4 can be very handy. If your juice tastes good on the TFV4 with single/dual coil, you know it'll taste very good in most tanks, and taste excellent in drippers/"flavor" tanks. I have 3 of them.

thanks for the details explanation.. yeah i do realize i can only use the rba if i pair it with my subox..

what about bellus v2? do u have any details knowledge about it?
*
Did u mean Billow v2? I've only used the Bellus and Billow v2 for 10-15 min (vape brudders lent to me) so I can't comment much. They're ok lah...decent flavor. U can search for reviews on youtube.

so i saw a link here that a TFV 4 with RBA is just at a sweet RM 50.00

thinking of upgrading my Kanger Subtank from the starter kit which i have been using for 7 months.

is TFV4 a good choice ? or should i save more for a Uwell Crown. Review on the net and youtube so far have suggest TFV 4 may leak if u do something wrong.

My setting.
have been going up and down on the ohm of my coil, but for the past one month have been vaping 0.5 at 20 W. Kind of my sweet spot now.
*

For RM50, it's value for money. But IMO the single coil RBA which comes with the TFV4 is a waste of time and juice. U need the optional dual coil RBA to get better flavor. If flavor is your priority and u don't want a bigger collection of RTAs, save up more and get the Uwell Crown.

You may wish to read post #2566 re: TFV4 and leaks.

guys do flavors go bad? I only buy US flavors and 30ml normally lasts me for about 3 weeks.

I noticed unicorn milk & boss reserve only tasteful when I first opened it. after 1 week add more liquid not nice anymore.

perhaps it's because of steeping. how can I prevent this since I like the flavor like when it's first opened?

put in airtight container?
*
Hmmm...
30ml lasts u 3 weeks....so each week you use 10ml. Very light vaper.

Maybe...just maybe, the juice is not the problem. It could be that you need to clean the coil(s) and rewick with fresh cotton. If u leave the juice in the tank for a few days (or a week), it could start to get funky and make for poorer taste when u add more juice.

Since you consume very little juice on a daily basis, maybe a dripper is more suitable for you. Less wastage than if an entire tank of juice gets funky.

do you guys use a jig when making a spaced coil? My spacing is always uneven  sad.gif
*
Just wrap the coil normally as a contact coil. Get a knife that has the width of what you want the spacing to be and push it between the loops of the coil....voila! even spacings.
