LG HG2 max continuous discharge is 20A. If i am to use it on noisy cricket, what is the safe limit for my coil building? Been trying to ask uncle gugell but can't find definitive answer, hope sifoo here can help

Actual discharge, if i build 0.2ohm is 3.7/0.2= 18.5A.

Since the max is 20A, so I'm good to go, right?

you wouldn't need to build anything lower than 0.5, at 7.9v from voltage drop on two freshly charged batteries you'd only draw 15.8amps but already 125w

just remember to marry two fresh batteries and rotate between the two as to which makes the connection to the atty. just an extra safety precaution when using series

i guess if single it can fit the previous post, but if dual a bit susah from the looks of it. will try and see. yea the post is pretty damn tight, but managed to remove it. but i realise, my first try is with the pre coiled wires, either 1 of the legs cant be tightened 100% since the wires are stacking on each other. but they are firing consistently tho.

im ok with the tight air flow, suits me, but drip and top cap gets very hot after like 4-5 drags.

Series = Double Voltage, same amperage and battery capacity.
Parallel = Double amperage and battery capacity, same voltage.

Building for series mods, you need big surface area and big mass to stop the cotton from burning or coils from melting.
Try building 24g 2.5mm and above and 10wraps or more, if you're using higher gauge wire than add more wraps and vice versa for lower gauge to compensate for wire mass or your preferred resistance.

My daily is 24g 3mm 11 wraps, 0.5ish.

Use an airy rda to avoid dry hits.
I also avoided dry hits when i switched from using japanese organic cotton to cotton bacon.
Imo cotton bacon can withstand higher heat and chances of dry hits is minimal when compared to Japanese organic cotton.

Try changing the o-ring with one of the spares. If that doesn't work, try wrapping dental floss around the o-ring to temporarily make for a tighter fit. Then slowly look for a slightly fatter o-ring...some vape shops should have misc spare o-rings. Hyper Vape in sungai wang are quite helpful, if u wanna try looking there.
