QUOTE(stasio @ Dec 22 2016, 02:08 AM) Yea..sorry..... links above edited. np manI am member on particular site.... https://www.computerbase.de/downloads/siche...latives-update/ i suspect new updates since .576 introduced another bug for bitlocker. it's random but repeatable: after i keyed in my password, the encrypted drive apparently has been unlocked but file explorer doesn't let me access it. once i signed out then signed in, everything becomes normal. |

Hi guy, just want to listen your advice and opinion based on the new Windows 10..
My HP desktop has only 1 unit HDD which separate partition into C Drive (normally is OS Windows system file), D Drive (HP Original RECOVERY system which is Win7 Professional OEM) and E Drive (Additional partition which put my documents file). Currently has been upgraded Windows 10 (previously Win7) and I want to format the PC. If I go to Setting there and click "RESET the PC". Will this affect and erase all the contains inside of my D Drive (HP Recovery) and also E drive file inside? Furthermore if just RESET the PC, is it just remove all the applications and software ONLY affect in C Drive only? |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Jan 4 2017, 11:40 AM) Hi guy, just want to listen your advice and opinion based on the new Windows 10.. my advice is always back up your data away from the target disk first, if you're going to do something like this on it. Furthermore if just RESET the PC, is it just remove all the applications and software ONLY affect in C Drive only? i never use the feature of 'reset the pc' before. i only do clean installs (and if i'm lazy, i will just clean up the os drive via diskpart and restore from latest system images that i have created) even if i do, my os drive is a single dedicated disk for os only. however, i believe there must be an option for you to reset things for the os partition only, but again please don't take my words for it. look it up with search engines to find better answers. |

If I choose Reset this PC- keep my files
1. All the driver that installed will reinstall right? 2. Will my secondary drive file gone? (exp: drive c main, drive d is secondary) |

QUOTE(mackcyber @ Jan 16 2017, 01:47 PM) Anybody got VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR after wake up from sleep ? it's likely your gpu driver issues. use ddu and clean the gpu driver up first, then install the one that you think work well.I try to reinstall with old graphic driver. It work, but occasionally got error too. Im not clean install, but upgrade from Windows 7.. QUOTE(ljf123 @ Jan 16 2017, 04:16 PM) If I choose Reset this PC- keep my files when you wanna do system-level changes like this one, make a full data backup first. if possible, pull out your d: drive to be safer.1. All the driver that installed will reinstall right? 2. Will my secondary drive file gone? (exp: drive c main, drive d is secondary) 1. yes you need to reinstall all drivers (or get them from windows updates); 2. no they will be intact if you choose to keep your files. read further here (including user comments): https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12...ecovery-options http://www.howtogeek.com/132428/everything...r-windows-8-pc/ |
