i cannot install/upgrade to win 10 anniversary update for several times
it stuck after restart and installing...
tried windows auto update, tried mount 1607 iso to install and also tried usb bootable drive...all failed...
tried removed all hard drives except C, still fail...

backup all item, then do a clean installation. Once installed, keep on updating your windows for the whole day.

Hi guy, do you know why windows 10 anniversary version quite a lot of partition for "RECOVERY" file?

It created almost 4 or 5 RECOVERY partition file which I never see before? Can I format for this partition? Is it any impact for the system and other things?

P.S: Don't worry, I already backup some important file.

dont set auto backup, change to manual backup or if youre still want it to be auto then make sure the file keep on override the old one.

Ok, thanks a lot.. Expert... notworthy.gif
Normally, we plan use the traditional way by using recovery system restore back from my previous backup file.
This method is much more easily for us because we not need to key-in the product key for the Windows and Office. Furthermore, all the minor setting (such as User Account password, Theme Wallpaper been set up already)..

But we discovered that this Windows 10 unable to system restore, it showed something like "Windows Recovery Environment" is still currently run. doh.gif  We have go through by "msconfig" to turn off windows recovery environment, but nothing button to click to turn off this setting.. At the end, use the CD to clean install the Windows 10 by manually key-in product key of windows, reset up those setting themes, pictures, drivers and so on... Kinda very troublesome and waste the time set up of this.. shakehead.gif
