just download using xperiafirm and then flash using flashtool if u need it so much...

please use Sony PC Companion instead of waiting for OTA. there is a news that mentioned OTA released, but u might need to wait.

I start to hate MarshMallow already.

OTG support sucks. I cannot use my fav Total Commander apps to access OTG drive directly, even after installing the plugin to access OTG, Total Commander can only view, cannot write. Work perfectly while using KitKat and Lollipop.

Only ES File Explorer can support OTG but not really user friendly interface. Some video in OTG drive also not play really smooth after upgrade. Same video ok in Lollipop.

Try to enable storage under Settings/App/INSERT-APP-NAME-HERE/Permission

Permission already ON. I can access to external microsd. Only cannot access OTG.

Ah then I have no idea as I never use that app. I tried installing it just now but I seem to prefer ES interface more lol.

You're not familiar with Total Commander, that's why. I been using Total Commander (was called Window Commander before Microsoft taking a law suit) since the MSDOS was popular, then converted to Win 3.1, Win CE and now for Android. From 1993 until now I using same software for file management in PC and phone. 22 years already

Have you tried File Commander?

File Commander are preinstalled in all my Xperia phone but I hate it. Really annoying, keep asking me to upgrade to premium.

Anyway.. FC not showing the OTG too after MM.

for me it seems that the only app usable to detect USB otg is ES File Explorer

I think this getting worse as we get more updates

my original xperia z have the time limit setting display straight when press the volume button

the it got upgraded to lolipop, which hide the setting page within the change of the sound profile
so then I need to press the volume button, press twice on the left side to change from sound>silent>priority

now?!!
pull down the notification area twice, press the DOD button, press done (if the time limit is right)

i wonder will be be put to standby after a period of inactivity (marshmallow feature)

I have no problem with my otg with stock file commander. Can use it properly. Once I plugged in my otg with pendrive, slide down and press detect USB device, then auto detect already.

If you boot into safe mode, you will find it is fine.
