Tried to do a factory reset / repair through PCC as per suggested.

Mine Z5 dual updated to 6.0 and it seems more smoother and of course the battery life is greatly improved. Overnight and the battery only drop 4 percent. Impressive

Did you registered the print in a single area?

For me the print is much stabler if I technically scan my whole thumb / finger print

I technically move my finger from edge to edge top to bottom to map out my print

If the print is on a small area, unlocking need you to be more precise hence harder

now all back to normal, no restart, no strange behavior.
So I not planning to reset to factory.

When register I got random move my finger. make it scan more fingerprint?..
Same with you, edge to edge, top to bottom, even side also scanned.

but it normally work after few unlock, then after left a few special angle only that can unlock the phone.
now mostly go unrecognized or move too fast..

Obviously everything has improved, fingerprint, ui smoother, but battery life not much different, just using idle whatsapp and facebook.

as for me battery life is greatly improve compare from previous firmware. buttery smooth experience

I got an issue with the external speakers. They sound crackling now. I stupidly took a short underwater video at the pool. The speakers were OK but after an hour this problem happened. Everything else works fine. Now I just read that Sony changed their warranty policy on underwater photography and it means my warranty is void. I just want to know what the approximate cost is to fix the speakers or worst case scenario change the motherboard. Anyone here got a similar experience?

The best part for me,i can set sim 1 for call and sms.no need to select either sim 1 or 2. Coz sometime accidenttally call using sim 2.

these are legit original distributor where warranty will covered by Sony Malaysia. Other than these, then better dont take.

Last time bought it from Lazada for z5 dual, rm2k hehe. Warranty covered by Sony Malaysia as set from Thorus
