Not covered. One of the brands I know that provide such warranty (one time claim only) is Huawei, but that is limited to selected models.

Unlike certain counties, there's insurance for accidental cases, including cracked display.

That's the 'standard' of certain Malaysians (other countries also have) thinking that manufacturers are solely responsible for their user behavior. Even if you have an iPhone, Apple also won't repair it at their cost.

The battery life is above average I'd say.
The phone does heat up fast but doesn't overheat under normal use.

How much would the retail price today cost?

Currently I'm using an older Sony Xperia model called TX been using it for more than 2 years already, almost KO, overheating thus draining battery fast with battery life can only last for less than a day

one thing i noticed after removing fb messenger the battery life got a lot better (already don't have facebook installed), the power % barely drops when i leave the phone on (also on stamina which turns off data while phone is sleeping, and queuing data transfer in bulk)

yes, since they separated the FB messanger, it become the suckers even the phone is idle. vmad.gif

So far the biggest batt sucker is the GPS, ie when turn on Waze while driving. Partially the screen on also sucking the batt!! doh.gif

I'm quite satisfied with the battery life, granted you don't go gaming for long hours la, with work n some gaming, it can last me whole day. Overheating is still acceptable I guess, it gets warm but not that hot of what you expect when gaming. Normal usage is fine.

i hardly game much, but i do have fb app on my phone. Does that the cause of my phone overheating thus causing the battery draining fast?

It should be one of the causes since fb is always running in the background.
