I heard that z5 series is the last model in Sony mobile z series. It is being replaced by the x series. This is quite sad to hear as I just bought the z5p and it is being outdated soon by the X.

Yes. It is confirmed by Sony that there won't be Z6.
You can assume that X Performance is the 2016 flagship.

no worries. z5p still has some advantage over the x series namely the bigger 5.5" 4k screen and the better designed speaker placement

also it seems that malaysia (and a few other western countries) will not get the x performance. if this is true then z5p will still remain as the flagship model from sony.

From this article, they state X-Performance is for Asia only. Quite confusing. Maybe Sony hasn't plan any release countries yet due to it coming out only around June.

Anyway, from the white paper of X-Performance there includes every possible LTE band out there. So, it is possible that it will be released in Malaysia.

Lol. Don't worry about catching up. When I bought a new Xperia, I effectively turn off my antenna from all new Sony phones until it starts to lag from Lollipop onwards...

last night when my z5 got pop up for a system update I thought it was M d. I would know if it is an app update because it usually were. but not last night. it's system update guessing it minor.. but I don't know what it's actually get updated. any idea? since mine still 5.1.1.

It is way too high for a used phone
Be realistic n price it at least rm300-400 less than present retail

This is not a used phone it's a brand new phone yet to opened the seal on the box is still intact
