Yes, same sensor with RX100, but RX100 has better corner sharpness. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium/Z5/Z5C -- Discussion V2, World's first 4K display smartphone

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 27 2016, 10:45 AM) this image reminds me of a similar issue with one of those canon cameras also. i have found that there were other forummers both in here and in Sony forum mentioned about this problem, think it really is manufacturer flaw from the beginningits not actually the lens issue, but its cos the image from the lens doesnt cover the 16:9 ratio, so it post processes and stretches the image out resulting in the blur. u can email sony and i bet they will say that it is working properly. |

It is usual to have this problem in ultra wide lens.QUOTE(PhakFuhZai @ Jun 27 2016, 06:16 PM) RX100 has it's lens covered entirely on the lens. Plus it is less wide compared to Z5 |

I have mix and matched 4 fingers in 5 records. QUOTE(Upsilon @ Jun 29 2016, 06:48 PM) It is a lot better in Marshmallow (but then I also cheated by registering same finger twice). Or is it improved in marshmallow update? I'm using Z5C. I got sweaty palm. 100% of the time, can't read my print. got fed up, i juz stop using the print sensor.however, when my fingers r dry, the reader works well. so u nid to decide yourself. this wet finger is a common problem with most print sensor now. the coming generation of sensor is suppose to work better with wet fingers. |
