very disappointed for the little efforts Apple puts on Mac. While they keep refreshing the iOS devices, the Mac line-up was very outdated compared with competitors.

still downloading the update. I think, apple fixed the inaccurate storage information. not your disk space suddenly got freed up.

Patient. They are probably redesigning the chassis. The reason for delay?

Anyone here has rMBP and a thunderbolt to DVI-D adapter?
My macbook crashes when I connect it to the monitor while the lid is closed. After I wake up the macbook and then open the lid, the macbook will crash to the login screen.

I asked Apple Support and they don't know what is causing it and asked me to bring it to the service center.

Anyone can help me test this issue to see if it's just or does it affect anyone else.

Thanks!

Never have such an issue. I'm always running my MacBook in clamshell mode and never had this issue tho.

Anyone updated to 10.11.4 and have battery drain issue? My rMBP 2015 13, using xcode and chrome only, can get around 6 hours , before update i can get around 8 - 9 hours.

So far like normal though. Need a few days then only can tell whether ok or not. The new lockable feature in "Notes' is welcomed though.

Do you connect it using DVI-D?
Resolution of monitor?
Do you resize the external monitor? My monitor is 2K, I used a tweak to rescale it to display "retina" 1281x720 as since Yosemite, Apple forgot about a bug that prevent monitors to be rescaled like it used to be before in Mavericks.

I was able to reproduce the error consistently and created a new user to test it too.
