Guys.. I'm thinking to switch over to the banks term insurance offering..

After reading my allianz rider plan it seems like it's not a gurantee at old age you do not need to pay extra. It's just that you are paying earlier for the future please correct me if I'm wrong. Will like to readjust to 500k life coverage and 300k CI coverage. Any recommendation?

Dear,

In actual fact bank do not have insurance, they only co broke with insurance co. Only insurance co has rights to sell insurance. What ever they sell they are partnering with an insurance co behind.

I have a guaranteed plan with high coverage, i will need some of your personal details. If you would like to hear more about it. Do PM me.

QUOTE(bookstore @ Mar 27 2016, 08:34 AM)
My parent bought me a Whole Life, with Sum Assured (death benefit) of RM 50k. Been consistently paying the premium RM 550 per year for more than 25years. Recently I received the statement and calculating the yield of this plan. Assuming I survive to until policy year 60, the plan only give back cash value of RM116k. At this moment, the cash value is slightly above to my total premium paid.
Seek for your advice:
- Is it Whole Life plan in the market, features are high death benefit, low premium, low cash value?
- I am paying this plan for my next generation?
- Worth keeping this plan? Or I should look for another endowment / saving plan?
*
Dear,

Few categories you should look into, how much coverage you need for the below categories?

Liabilities protection?
Income replacement?
Savings for old age?
Children education fund?
Medical card?

Anybody here knows anything about Maybank/Etiqa smart cash? Every year can get up to 8% of sum insured. It sounds to good to be true. I tried to google around, but not much information is available.

It's an endowment plan, mind you, this is 8% on the sum assured, not on the cash value that you've invested in.

I have looked on the AIA medical protection and interested in A-Plus Med (Plan 300) my question is can i get the standalone medical card package with that Plan 300 (RM877.68) or i need to have life protection plan bundled with that Plan 300?

Hi, for best value for your bucks...

1) is he covered by his company's medical once he starts working?

2)if yes, you can consider getting a medical card with deductible... which will cost less...

3) aia offers both option, standalone and bundled. Of course there will be price difference

Hi, probably need some explanation on the deductible part.

So if say company covers him for 30k. then for the best bang for the buck, he should get a medical card that covers him from 30k onwards until xxx amount.

the usual medical card covers him from $0 until discharge. buying one with deductible is like a top-up. usually those with deductible will be at least can be 50% cheaper.

thanks for the info and enlightenment about this option.
never know that this option existed.
vmad.gif ranting.gif was never mentioned by my (multi agencies) agents.
mad.gif guess they aimed at higher sales commissions than advising me (the client) the better option.

thumbsup.gif thanks again.

If your company's medical insurance benefit is provided by AIA, you can choose a plan with a deductible option with AIA too!

Check out "A-Health Maximizer".
It is a top-up plan with a range of deductibles to choose from.
I think this would be exactly what you're looking for: https://www.aia.net.my/AHMPortal/download.html

There is the conventional option, and the Takaful option.

Hope this is what fits into your criteria thumbsup.gif

Did the agent tells you that 36 critical will be reduced after claim once?
1 time emergency out patient treatment can cost rm500-2000, did the agent tell you the work around to claim after > rm3000?
Dialysis not covered?

Depends on the agent that you work with on how transparent they are, since your guy is a insurance broker, they should have a lot of different companies to offer what you're looking for.

Hi all,

I already have insurance with prudential since 2000. Never use it until last feb where I had an accident. Total of everything including post hospitalization is almost 40k. When I went to prudential to claim for my post hospitalization (I no longer have agent) they told me my claim is limited to 50k per year, which mean, if I have another accident this year (god forbid) it won't be enough to cover it.

I can upgrade my insurance, but the problem is, I will lost few benefits like hospitalization daily allowance. Also when I took my insurance in 2000, I don't have any medical condition, but now I have high blood pressure and if I renew it, my insurance won't cover it. They advise me to maintain my current insurance and take a new one.

So, anybody can suggest insurance that cover accident and hospitalization? I think that's all I need because my current insurance can cover the rest.

Also they told me that new insurance won't cover 100% like my current insurance, where I need to pay 10% of the cost. Is that true?

Any agent feel free to contact me via PM. thanks.

Obviously they are telling you that, in order to get covered, you need to pay more.
High blood pressure can lead to many other sickness, which for insurance companies this is a risk to them.
Is normal for them to demand more for lesser coverage.
The only way is cancel all policies and start visiting GH, let them have your medical condition reports.
Then start to control your blood pressure without any drugs, regular exercise, changing lifestyle are some where you need to start.

For your case, you can get some deductible medical card at cheaper price.

For example if your annual limit is RM50,000. You may get a deductible plan of RM50,000. If the bill is over RM50,000, you can claim over the other medical card.
