I also thought "on-site" means they go to your place but as explained to me by Lazada CS, it means you take it back to the shop lol

This is their reply to me. If the merchant is in Timbuktu means habis

"On-Site Warranty which means, in the event that you will be requiring warranty service, you will need to address all of your concerns and inquiries directly through the merchant."

In case of Dell products, Onsite-Warranty means;

1) your laptop/monitor etc kaput while under warranty, they send technician repair on the spot in your house/office

2) they send people to collect your kaput product and repair or give replacement with no extra charge

I will check it out once I get home.

Dell expensive RM705 compare RM365 - BenQ GW2255
I got
BenQ 24” EW2440L instead RM579 lazada

Reason I got BenQ EW series is coz:
Flicker Free ***
Matt Screen ***
Cheap *

EW2440L bazel is slimmer then dell
same warranty 3 year

Matt screen which is a huge positive for me, cant stand the glossy screens eg Dell S2316h just reflects soo much light in my eyes.
EW2440L has a VA panel not as good as ISP but not that far off, way better then the TN panels
Flicker free and low blue light settings are just great if you look at the monitor for long periods of time.
I notice such a big difference for me with flicker free straight away after changing out my old monitor, then recently i was at a friends place he had a few year old 24inch dell monitor which he paid 1k at the time, man just looking at his monitor for 1min I already notice the difference, my eyes are becoming less comfortable etc....

Here in Taiping a local shop not selling the BenQ GW2255 old model, its selling BenQ GW2270 at the same price of RM360-380, the monitor looks better with buttons etc... But i guess the internals are the same.

Now to think about it I should had setup a dual monitor instead 2x BenQ GW2255 instead of EW2440L top up only RM140, as i tend to open way too many windows.
I could had one on landscape and the other on portrait

I think the Dell S2316H is also flicker free. But true indeed it is a glossy screen. A lot of people can't stand glossy screen, including me. I for one will never buy a glossy screen again. My laptop and tablet are all glossy screen, but no choice coz all cheap tablets and laptops use glossy screen. The reflection is too strong with them. sweat.gif

bro. s2316h after voucher only RM5xx. last time with happy30 under rm500 can buy

having use both EW2440L and S23616H, the dell got far superior color, louder speaker than benq. glossy but after 2,3 days your eyes get used to it.

ya, matte screen is a must: one of my condition picking monitor.

last time got very few laptops models or makers use matte screen, if got also expensive model like asus zenbook >rm2999, hp probook etc. luckily that time samsung got producing budget laptop with matte screen, thus i picked it. nowadays i see lenovo also got matte screen in its budget series.

No more voucher anymore sleep.gif;;

No doubt glossy screen and IPS pannel produce better colour.
internal speakers who uses them anyway.

Since I stare at my monitor average 10 a day mostly reading. My eye comfort is first priority.
Not a graphics designer so I can live with less colour accuracy
Actually with the EW2440L I even adjusted the colour from the normal white kelvin eg 64k (pure white) to 40k (slight off yellow), I found this to be easier on my eyes.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention VA panel has better contrast level, better for the eyes, which is another plus for me

go for factory stock matte screen monitor.

btw, it is no good juz look at spec for selecting monitor: such as flicker free or not, resolution how much, response time , etc

in fact, the color production is varied by brand or even same brand different models.

my old monitor was down recently, after viewing all demo units of monitors playing videos, movies, MTV, finally i picked LG instead of Benq, bcoz i see the benq color production in movies not that natural compared to LG/Philips, the skin color, the backgrounds color ...i don't like it. even say Benq got VA panel, wider viewing angle .... So u better go take a look at physical monitor screen whether u like it or not, it is personal taste.

If anyone of you still remember, the iPhone 6s that I ordered from Lazada went missing during shipment. So after 2-3 months Lazada contacted me yesterday and told me that they will not refund me. So I went to the tribunal today to file a complaint and there will be a court hearing soon. Wish me luck lol.

The EW2440L has a slight bluish tint out of the box. Did a review on this monitor before. Check my blog if you want.

There's also the blue light reduction feature but it kinda screws up all the colours haha..
