I was hoping we can create one thread dedicated to pricing for Wii and it's related items. Sort of a FAQ on prices and where to get it. I've been going through that 2500 post thread and it's giving me a headache. Can't really find the answers I am looking for.

Wii Sports depend on Jap machine or US machine. Not sure if they are offering the same price. But yeah you can put Wii sports in both bundles since I am basing it on the US machine price.

Shouldn't be against the rules if they allow price lists.

Selling at RM1899, just a standard package with Wii Sport

Went in hunt for a Wii earlier today, TNL doesn't carry any stock at the moment and was unsure on price and availability of next shipment. Imbi Mario did have some in hand and was going for RM2800 which includes

1. US Wii package
2. 3 Games
- Trauma Center: 2nd Opinion
- Call of Duty 3
- Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
3. Stepdown adapter

Wii can be hardly seen in most shops locally at the moment, which explained those excessive pricing. how sad.

RM2800?!?! Crazy!

Was told that they were forced to take the package from distributor....either get Wii + 3 games or non at all...hence the price.

Wiimote is cheaper, if not mistaken about rm180 while the nunchuck rm120

Of course man, wii is getting popular than ps3 (no offence yea). Thus, the price might go up..so to those haven't buy, boikot the price 1st...let it drop few months only buy

Curious, to those that own one how does it play? Are the games good?

Based on your own preference dos.. The remote's motion sensing capabilities are awesome and should be able to produce alot of fun, interactive games. If interaction is not your thing, you'd be best sitting down on a couch pushing buttons of or stick with keyboard & mouse.

I just back from South Cheras Jusco..The price of wii that's shocking..rm2.8k..i wonder who will buy it..

wow...i guess they're making a lot of money from that if they managed to sell off even 1 unit. i guess after christmas & new year, prices might eventually have to drop...

Most of the wii sold in our country don't hv warranty..except their own warranty..even with waranty, i don't think is worthy. For me, is Better 2purchase from Djinn since he has all knowledges& expertise there

For the price of 2.8k, u can already buy a PS3 with 1 pcs of original PS3 game loh. That is the price of 2 WII, no matter u got warranty or not u have been suck dried....

2.8K can get a PS3? thats a first...Dont see any shops selling a PS3 for less than RM3.7k at the moment..

2.8k is high price to pay for a Wii. If you are impatient like me, settle for 2k thats reasonable..

I am only buying the Wii and PS3 next April 2007. Right now, a lot of issues la, like strap broken and stuff like that.

Also the PS3 is coming up with a motion tracking controller.

I've also done some scouting on Wii pricing. Went to JUSCO at seri kembangan. There's a game shop there. They said they could order for me if i want one. It's US version with Wii sports i think. Price is about RM1500. But still, i feel it's quite expensive. Better wait for the price to go down. The retail price at Japan is only RM783 after conversion.

XBox is going for only 1799 + 5 ori games. Does XBox have a motion controller like wii? Wondering which one is better.

u cant expect to get same price since u havent calculated the shipping and tax. plus, u shud know that everyone is anticipating this console like u, so it shud come no surprise that you will get the console at that price since this console is still considered a new console.

The Wii doesnt "magically" appear out of Japan onto their display counter. It goes through shipping ($$$$$), insurances ($$$$$), customs tax ($$$$$) and company profit ($$$$$$). You can eliminate all that if you live either in Japan or US and get it there yourself, but the process of getting it here is not free of charge. Wanting a Wii at that price is nonsense. I know we all hope for the cheapest, but reality is, we live here in Malaysia, not those countries. DEAL with it!

I believed there's only 1 gaming store at Jusco Seri Kembangan..( sebelah karaoke club ) those guys doesnt know what they're talking about. Logitech G25 selling for RM 1399, DFP selling for RM 999 whereas u can get the same for RM 1099 & around RM 799 respectively in KL. NDSL Lite Dragon compatible charger selling for RM 75.

Once asked about PS3 and he confidently stated that it sells for RM 3500 with 1 game and it was because it's NTSC/UC unit. Wow! Kecoh already. No one i knew brought PS3 NTSC/UC. Imbi Mario lagi pening, since they're boss being one of biggest importer of gaming products, and they didn't even have any.

Tension...i went back and asked to see the region code label. The guy doesn't even knew where to look, and when he finally did, guess what. Yeah...JAPS!
