Why not? As long as you set your country to somewhere in Brazil, all it should ask your for is a postcode, which can tembak wan.

Oh boey..
Setting it to US, upon purchasing Wii Points, you must provide a US residential address, with a REAL postcode. You avoid that process by setting your country to Brazil. |

^ Simple. Nintendo doesn't really care about other countries besides the main, US, JP, and EU(and some AZ/NZ)..
Well.. bluntly that is. |

Because standby(w/ WC24) is just like having the console turned on[1]. Somewhat uses the CPU/GPU during "standby", and the fan doesn't run continuously, only time by time.
[1] Because whenever I try to eject the CD from "standby" (without WC24), the console has to be turned on(green light) then only CD eject, then resumes to power down.. BUT, if you have WC24 on(orange light), the CD ejects itself immediately without powering on. |

QUOTE(LiteBulb @ Jul 29 2007, 02:40 PM) Guys I was wondering, if I transfer a Mii over to my controller, does it auto update the stats itself or does it not matter? (for example the Wii Sports skill level) No it doesn't have the stats for Wii Sports. It just transfers your Mii data, just the appearance. And if I have 2 controllers, do I have to dedicate one specific controller to player1 and another to p2? Or can I mix and match? As for your second question, you don't really have to dedicate your Mii to any Wiimote. No games has use for any of these features yet. Maybe Smash Brawl and it's multiple control schemes. |

QUOTE(razorkid @ Aug 3 2007, 01:38 PM) Hi all, im a new wii owner If you're planning to play GCN games on the Wii, you'll need the GCN controller, you can't use classic or anything else.I got a wii to play some wii games and old GC games my question is, is it better to get gc controller or get the classic controller for the wii? can the classic/gc controller for wii be used in new wii games? lastly is all gc game compatible with wii? same region of coz coz im looking forward to play mario sunshine hehe The classic, and the GC controller CAN and WILL be used in certain games that requires, or gives options to use them. One example would be Smash Brothers Brawl, which has 4 styles of control modes. (RE4:Wii Edition supports classic, and supposedly GCN for classic controls) All GCN games are compatible with Wii, except for those which do not belong to the same region. (e.g. Jap games cannot play on US Wii and vice versa) |

Surprisingly, what's taking up my time on the Wii now is Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Mario Power Tennis, and Smash Bros.
Gamecube games are still gold. I'm getting some more next week |
