I update my firmware yesterday. After tat i when to wii shop to find but dun see any Opera. Then i went on9 using my PC, visit the Opera website and it said it is available for dl until 30th of June!
Anyone who got it pls tell me where to search for the thing.

Another question to ask all of u, if i dl a classic Nitendo game do i need to have a Gamecube Memory card to play those old game? Or just the classic control is enough?
*
For Opera, access Wii Shop Channel, and then Wii Channels download, should be there with weather and vote channel.

For classic games:

NES/Turbografx16/Sega: Wiimote(NES style), GCN Cont, Classic Controller
SNES/N64: Classic Cont., GCN Cont.

guys. is the sensor bar and the remote easy to use?
i got mine and played for 30 minutes on warioware.
the remote seems to be quite laggy. i placed it on top and bottom still the same. what's the maximum range for the thing btw?
*
What's the distance you play from Wii AND sensor bar? Usually, it NEVER lags. Only for graphic heavy games, then only the cursor will be 'abit' laggier.

If your default cursor(the same cursor you use to selecting channels) speed is as slow, or slower than the Warioware cursor speed, then something is wrong.

With light interference in my own room, lamp, light through window, all I get is an upside down cursor at times, and rarely any 'jumping' cursors.

If your cursor happens to be jumping around, then it's confirmed lighting wink.gif

It's good if you have friends. We've been alternating between MUA and MP8 since we got those games smile.gif Good laughs, good times.

Some of the minigames had us laughing the entire race(the extra minigames for 4 players, not part of MP8), stomach ache sial. laugh.gif

Actually, it's getting syokker the more we play. Figuring which board to play, and who's got the advantage on which board.. But we still need another Wiimote, then I'm complete. Now got 3 wiimotes and 4 nunchucks(wha?).

Even tho it's abit slow, like 10 turns would take 45mins to 1hour in a Party Game(4players). I went to gamefaqs and someone was asking how many rounds do you usually play, the first poster said "50", and the rest said "20" or "25".. Goodness gracious. I seriously don't think I can sit that long.

But great game!

To all existing, and new Wii owners.

You have ten more days download the free Internet Channel. After that, it's up to your credit cards and points to do the job.

Access Wii Shop Channel, then Wii Channels menu and download the Internet Channel. (that's alot of channels)

So get downloading if you haven't!

There are two possible error messages:

The one you mentioned about,

and,

The one that says that the connection to WiiConnect24 cannot be established. Or something like that.

Don't think I've ever encountered your problem, but then one I mentioned it's because of lag.

Seems like lots of you have this common problem. Are all of you guys.. modded?

Not on mine tho', takes up to a minute or two to get into shop, because of downloading all the information and pictures of the game.

No idea, but everytime I hear about "not being to access Wii Shop channel", I keep tieing the connection with a modded console. Of course I may not be right, but if we get enough testimonies from modded, and unmodded users, then we can pin-point the problem.

^ Well, you're still chasing the earlier released games, good, but here are my recommendations.

Mario Party 8, if you got friends/family to play with. 4 players preferably.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, if you have not played it previously, get it now with new content(PS2 version) and controls. And also, it's 'budget priced', got mine for RM135.

Er.. wait, did you get confused with Mario Party and Super Paper Mario?

And, end of the month, Mario Strikers Charged! With online play thumbup.gif

Hehe yeah I got Super Paper Mario I mean.

The Resident Evil 4...well I know i'm all old and stuff now but the first time I played Resident Evil I kept on getting nightmares....sad.gif

I wonder if Jap versions can play with US versions for the Mario Strikers. What's Mario Party 8 about?

I also read that nIgHTs is out but I have not seen it anywhere.

I'll try out Elebits biggrin.gif

Mario Party 8, is a party game meant for up to 4 players. It's basicly a "board game" where you roll dices to move. The board designs are one of the main attractions, but it's the minigames that makes most of the part fun.

The minigames will have you competing with your friends/family/computer, either in a free for all battle(4 player battle), 2 vs. 2 battle, or 1 vs. 3 battle. There's also 1-on-1 battles called Duels. Winners get coins, and coins are used to buy stuff like Stars(the goal of the game), and also Candies that will help you in various ways(throw 2 dices, steal coins).

But don't get it if you have no-one to play with. Computers can be dull, but with human player you will have fun the whole way smile.gif

noob here. just wondering, what are the difference between Jap and US version beside the menu?

i read thru some postings..some say not much of difference, but some say get the US better.

can anyone enlighten me? tq tq.

It's very simple. US version plays US games, and Jap version plays Japanese games.

Hey guys one question...is it safe to buy your Wii points using credit card...OR is it better to buy the points card?
*
Yes it is safe. Many of us use CC because Point cards aren't easy to find.

Just be patient and hope your download finishes. Our connection from here to there(JP/AU/NZ/EU/US) is very bad.

Speaking about bad, Mario Strikers is limited to REGION play, that means WE, will be playing against Americans, and not some random "best connection" player.

That means we HAVE to play each other in other to enjoy lagless football sad.gif

Well, most of the time I'll be playing locally(multiplayer) because I have friends over almost everyday. But where's the love if I don't have a game with you all? smile.gif

I'm definitely interested in the 2 vs. 2 gameplay.

Ahhh.. we'll have to do a Jap system walkthrough sometime.

I spent few minutes online searching for the online system manual, but couldn't find it. The screen layout is the same, only replaced by different language.

You'll have to find the "Internet" option in your configuration setting, then it will ask if it's "Wireless" or a "Wired" connection.

Once you set it to wired, I don't think there is any additional settings to meddle with.

Well, I *think* under wireless connection you can select wired instead.

If you do not have the USB wired adapter connected, it will be greyed out.

*I THINK*! Cannot confirm now as at work doh.gif
