QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jun 13 2018, 04:31 PM) world cup russia 2018 starts tmr night 11pm. astrogo works good on ue630x, so u can watch: .. all 64 matches free using sport pack subscriber's id/pw. .. all 64 matches... rm100, rm120 for others. .. 22 matches free on astro arena, no need id/pw. https://www.astro.com.my/mediaroom/articled...annel-pass-for-.. rm1 per match or rm64 for all 64 matches for maxis users: https://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/plans/...ml#match-passesThanks for the update, can work on phone also right? Btw, is UE630x still the best buy now after 2 years? There are some clearance models like the Sony 7000 series going for RM3.3k 65in but no andriod tv.. the 630x still goes for RM5k+

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jul 24 2018, 01:16 PM) guys, i have upgraded! after 2.5 years with lc50ue630x, i have upgraded to lc60ua6800x, 4k HDR. the main reason for the change was ue630x cannot do HDR videos nicely although it is excellent for 1080p and 4k. the ue630x was a fabulous tv for me, incl the use of the andoridtv. it has been moved to a room where i continue to enjoy it. if u r looking for a 4k HDR tv, consider the current sharp model, my comments below: Sharp LC50UA6800X, Reviewhttps://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4488602/+560Congrats! Does it include wall brackets in the package?

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Dec 11 2018, 05:41 PM) ue630x... this tv of mine has reached 3 years; hope nobody's unit gone kaput! i hope everyone who has this tv is still enjoying it as much as i do. stable with android6, all apps working nicely, incl netflix, youtube, astrogo, zaltv, etc. the wifi module is pretty good, can do all i want it to 60ft from the router. bought a new optical cable->avr for prologicII 5.1 audio, all is good. Wow didn't realise its been 3 years, I wonder what's the best option now? 65" entry level prices start as low as rm2k+ it's become the 55" prices 3 years before. Why do u need optical cable for 5.1 instead of using hdmi with audio return? This post has been edited by DannyOP: Dec 12 2018, 01:34 AM

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Dec 12 2018, 05:40 PM) if u hv 300, 500, 800mbps speed, replace stock router with a better one. if your tv is not too far from router (<30ft best), the tv can give u all the good stuff with 5ghz. 630x shud b same as 6800x - tv wifi 5ghz can get >200mbps. if far, like 50-60ft, 5ghz may not show, tv will fall back to 2.4ghz. Will it be better for ethernet cable directly connected to the router or WiFi?

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Dec 13 2018, 01:17 PM) the tv ethernet port is not gigabit, limited to max 100mbps. if u have >100mbps speed, wifi can get u >200mbps if distance is not far. then again, such high speed is not necessary for most android apps. this applied to both ue630x and ua6800x. Thanks I'll try using wifi, just got a entry level 65" with local dimming for RM3k+ so trying it out.
