ya u r rite, but the performance i get (after OC) still not much improvement on gaming, so i jus hope tat if possible can oc til max to gain the performance. However there is 1 problem after i oc my card.When ever i restart again my pc the core & mem will decrease itself, so is this a usual thing?

can someone help me here...what is the peak limit+safe limit for me to oc my 6800XT ??? i can only oc my gpu until 400 core mhz and memory clock 800 mhz...

there is no specific limit to how much a certain card can OC

it is all exprience because each card is different as well as the whole system as well

you limit reach is due to several factors

1. heat - get a better hsf to lower the temp
2. psu - oc - ing does put a little strain on the whole system, not enuff juice can cause system down.
3. try voltmodding - this will improve the max OC-ing , but require good PSUs

do u all get any better framerate during gaming after unlocking?i'm kinda wondering bcoz last time i did unlock my 6800nu to 16vp6vs successfully but no significant margn during gaming in term of framerate.

3D mark score won't be increased if there's no framerate improvement and how much significant is actually depend on the game and resolution u put.
So the answer is yes, the framerate does increase.

i'm using the Nvidia 6800 plain version 256mb ddr 256bit 12p/5v

i did oc it to 440/800 n scores 11234 in 3D mark 03
