i've just bought a used Winfast A6800XT at RM340. The stock speed is 300/700 and 8pl/4vs, 3Dmark03 just 68xx which is pretty low. So i try to unlock it with rivatuner and wow i found out it can do 16pl 6vertex shader without giving artifact in 3Dmark.

This really make me happy, then i try to run 3Dmark03 again i got 11482. Does anyone know is this mark close to any 6800GT or ultra ?

hey thank you for the link . i just did 3Dmark05 benchie and i got 4214 and it's comparable with Radeon X800. btw do you think RM340 for this AGP card is big bang for buck?

haha irangan, from worrying to get my deposit refund from storm88 till i get this goodies i'm really lucky...

this one can't be said as 6800GT coz of memory type, size and speed... btw what software can i use to check it is completely artifact free after unlocking all the pipelines?

u actually got it wrong.
GS is better than XT for Nvidia gc not like ATI

2 main reasons y the the pipelines was lock.

1. the pipelines is faulty

2. to sell it as lower end product although the all the pipelines are good

for latest product now a day ATI and nvidia use laser cut to disable the pipeline that's y it can't be unlocked

3D mark score won't be increased if there's no framerate improvement and how much significant is actually depend on the game and resolution u put.
So the answer is yes, the framerate does increase.
