i've just bought a used Winfast A6800XT at RM340. The stock speed is 300/700 and 8pl/4vs, 3Dmark03 just 68xx which is pretty low. So i try to unlock it with rivatuner and wow i found out it can do 16pl 6vertex shader without giving artifact in 3Dmark.

This really make me happy, then i try to run 3Dmark03 again i got 11482. Does anyone know is this mark close to any 6800GT or ultra ?

You are lucky mate~! I bought a 6800XT before... Can't fully unlock all the pipelines cause they give me artifacts... Can't find a comparison for 3DMark03, but there is one for 3DMark05 here at Tomshardware:

hey thank you for the link . i just did 3Dmark05 benchie and i got 4214 and it's comparable with Radeon X800. btw do you think RM340 for this AGP card is big bang for buck?

Yeah thats great value, especially with all the pipes unlock. I've similar success with a 6600LE back then, fully unlocked and got it clocked at 420MHz core with 950MHz 2.2ns memory, its a Gainward btw.

Congrats, its really hard to find a 6800 that can fully unlocked nowadays

What he mean is unlock all pipes is the same as getting a 6800GT. Why don't you get that ?

About that, probably yours is 1.3V, first save your BIOS to a file (video BIOS that is, use nvflash ....something of a rather) use nibitor and upped the voltage to 1.4V and flash the new BIOS using nvflash (you need bootable floppy for this). Don't ask me how to flash, I forget about it a long time ago. Google for it and you might get the answer

i get what he is saying... just that, after unlocking all the pipeline in 6800xt, it became a 6800GT right? that's why i said 6800GT at RM340. probably my bad english cause this miscommunication

this one can't be said as 6800GT coz of memory type, size and speed... btw what software can i use to check it is completely artifact free after unlocking all the pipelines?

though lack of memory bandiwith, it is still a 16ppl card ma that cost only RM340. still consider very cheap.

try to download AtiTool and scan for articfat.

As the seller, I'm happy that the card is unlocked to the full potential.

Better than selling to noobies wishy-washy about benchmarks and comparing with x800/6600gt/etc., but not making up their minds...

dint manage to up mine to 16/6 though. it wouldnt boot into windows after that. managed to up it to 12/5. will try to run some benchies and see if there is a big improvement

Hey, what is ur graphic card meh? Also 6800XT? it stated 512MB DDR3. Impressive, Hope to see ur benchies soon.

Hehe. Results not so impressive though. managed to unlock it to 12/6. Ran 3DMark03, original at 8/4 was 7000. After up to 12/6 went up to 8480. Nothing like what warrior is getting with 16pipelines. I wonder what processor speed he's running though.

HI there, i m new here, can anyone teach me how to unlock the pipelines since i own a HIS ati X1600pro AGP.

not all the card can be unlock to have more pipeline.
AFAIK, X1600pro can't be unlock.
