I don't think so. They don't mention Celcom on their website anywhere at all. Ride yes. Discount no.

hello..i am looking to find telco with long life. will rarely use for calls, mainly use for lite whatsapp. looking at suggestions above, onexox seems a good option. does it have cheaper rates when making calls/SMS with celcom, since i read it rides on celcom line (?)

How the roaming like?
I'll be bringing the number overseas and main purpose will be for receiving tac numbers. Also if I have existing credit in my prepaid, will it be transferred over when I convert to XOX?

Hello there !

Receiving sms while roaming is free. The last I checked, the AUS/NZ roaming rates for making calls home is RM2.50 and sending sms is at RM2.00. Kindly contact customer support to get latest rates (12273/1-300-888-010).

May I suggest trying out XOX Voopee (www.voopee.com)? Get a free XOX number (with some free credits) and call/sms to home at local rates.

Thank you.

I don't think xox offers roaming, call, SMS or data. It's not even listed in its website. To be safe, I don't advise you to pick xox for roaming. Better just stick to celcom, digi, maxis or u mobile. At least u know for sure roaming on all of them works perfectly.

Hello there !

I would like to highlight that while ONEXOX does not havedata roaming but it does have arrangements and does offers international roaming for calls and sms.

The actual outgoing roaming charges may change from time to time as it also depends on the MNO and exchange rates. So, it would be advisable to check with customer service for the latest rates.

The countries that I have verified reports from ONEXOX uses to have international roaming includes UK, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Australia.

Would you believe there is even a ONEXOX dealer in Australia ? Go msg him at https://www.facebook.com/onexoxaustralia/

Thank you.

If that's indeed true, why can't xox puts it in the website? Clearly so that everyone can see?

Hello there !

Yes, I agree that it can be confusing as to which website (xox.com.my or onexox.my) should the general public refers to, to get correct information at present time.

Unfortunately, as dealers, we have no authority, insight nor rights to comment on XOX or ONEXOX website matters. I hope you and general public would believe me that we as dealers have tried our level best to get ONEXOX to provide accurate, better, integrated and informative website ... but we have no powers over the matter ... and we would be grateful if all our customers would drop a msg or two to onexox webmasters regarding the website ...

For most part, the parent company website xox.com.my is more up-to-date, at times have more info and is able to handle online sales. However, onexox.my is still the official website for all matters concerning ONEXOX prepaids (until otherwise decided by the powers-that-be).

Regarding international roaming, this particular feature is minimally described here http://www.onexox.my/membuat-panggilan-antarabangsa.html

No specific roaming charges is included on the page other than :

1. Sila hubungi 12273 untuk mengetahui kadar panggilan perayauan antarabangsa.
2. Sila pastikan anda mempunyai RM15 baki kredit minima untuk membuat atau menerima panggilan semasa diperantauan.

Finally, for existing and prospective customers, please contact ONEXOX customer service at 12273 or 1300 888 010 should you require any further info or assistance on international roaming.

Thank you.

Strange that you should feel anything that's not on the website doesn't exist at all.

Throughout my years of checking official websites of the various telcos, there have been things that I know of or using, that are not on them.

I won't elaborate but can only say that you need to be using the different telco services and actually check their websites frequently for changes, to see if everything is listed there. nod.gif

Hello there !

If your ONEXOX sim is given to someone else (ex: your family member) to use, you can subscribe to any of the monthly data plan and it will auto-renew to the same plan every 30 days. There is also an option to subscribe to any of the data plan within the self-care website. Only the 30days monthly plan have auto-renewal, ex: 500MB, 1GB, 2GB, 5GB, 10GB.

Thank you.

Hello there !

- ONEXOX offers 28 months validity to all new subscribers (new numbers/mnp)
- No free basic internet
- No PAYU internet

Please take a look at this post https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=85629090
and also take a peek at my thread (sig below) for some info on onexox.

However, with Season Pass, high-speed monthly internet access becomes very affordable.

Please reach out to any ONEXOX dealer on LYN forum should you have any questions (can pm me with all your questions if you want) and any of them will be happy to answer your queries.

Thank you.

Hello again !

Season Pass is just a data quota storage/wallet. Whenever you subscribe to a valid data plan, the system will automatically deduct the data amount required from Season Pass first and no credit is deducted.

The current valid data plans that can be deducted from Season Pass:

- 2GB/7 days plan
- 500MB/30days plan
- 1GB/30days plan
- 2GB/30days plan
- 5GB/30days plan
- 10GB/30days plan

Only monthly data plans have auto-renewal (which can be disabled anytime after subscription).

Thank you.
