Follows Celcom coverage but Celcom is having upgrade currently until August so there will be service disruptions but Redone FB have been updating of the locations.
Customer service is a hit and run. When they are good and you manage to call it, it will be good. But sometimes, you can't call in at all. I have experienced this.
MNPs are done via an agent closes to you and everything they do is online via a table. So I do not think MNP will be an issue .. well it depends you come from a Postpaid or Prepaid.
I guess Prepaid is a bit slower. Prepaid line have to be active when during the MNP process and beware that the Prepaid Telco might delay if you are close to validation expiry so you will have to top up again .. sneaky little buggers.

The other option that I did not explore since I wanted to try Redone was to MNP to Tune Talk, buy validation 365 at RM 28 and weekly RM2 - 100MB data.. it will come close to Redone where you get RM 8 for 500MB in the Redone Data 8 plan. Weekly RM2 - 100MB data is recurring so you do not need to do it every week.
Tune talk will be cheaper for calls if calls are more than 2 minutes average but there is only 1 cent difference anyways.
Tune Talk customer service has been great on phone and on Tune Talk FB / FB PM. I manage to help a friend to complete the MNP thru Tune Talk FB Messenger.

On the latest Tune Talk app, it looks like it is possible to pay for the Annual Validity but I cannot test it because I already purchase the Validity.
The new Tune Talk app, look for the floating " i ".
I do not know if sending SMS for purchasing the Tune Talk annual validity works from abroad.

QUOTE(RDoe @ Aug 17 2016, 12:15 PM) Dang .. what a waste .. but I can see why they did this since many of their users do not see the benefit of this plan... obvious in their Hotlink FB page. Hope they will still have the service for the current customers.

QUOTE(gfish213 @ Aug 22 2016, 07:51 AM) i just buy buzzMe, overall spending. Rm10 (sim pack) + RM80 (reload) what i get is smart validity (1 year valid) + smart bundle (4GB) + RM23 (credit remain) if you know chinese, can refer my blog for detail. http://www.gfishdiary.com/2016/08/buzzme-mobile.htmlI can't read chinese but the pictures help.. my question is Why your Smart bundle is not following the Validity period ? I thought it was suppose to as mentioned here.. the data follows the validity ? Did I read something wrong ?

For those that wanted something like Hotlink Tablet Plan, there is no need for it now. Might as well you get TuneTalk and use PPU at 2cents / MB compared to Hotlink Tablet Plan RM45 for 2GB at 2.19cents / MB. TuneTalk reduced their PPU from 3cents / MB to 2 cents / MB. Beware of Hotlink scam ... make sure you have a paper trail when you do Top Ups with Hotlink. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4303090

Looks like Tune Talk have up their pricing so time to switch to the next best thing .. mobile@unifi since it seriously does not expires as long as there is usage : 1MB data or 1 SMS or 1 Call on the 90th day since the last transaction. Since our smartphones usage data all the time, going off Wifi will already prolong the expiry if your data is on. At least with mobile@unifi, I do not need to pay the RM28 for a year validity Update for Tune Talk : Call ON / Off Net is 22 cents/ min. Only Tune Buddies are 9cents / min. Started the promotion with 5 SIMs per I/C, then drop to 3 then now 1 SIM. Oh well, stay with Tune Talk for another year.

QUOTE(duhduh1234 @ Aug 18 2018, 10:22 PM) Thanks for replying. But it doesnt suit me because i mostly cannot finish 1GB in a month. Same here .. on WiFi most of the time. If you have not registered any SIM with mobile@unifi .. then you are good to go. I have one from earlier promotion with 10GB 3G/LTE + 10GB LTE .. now after 10 months, I still have about 10GB left. I thought it would expired in 3 months so I used up 10GBs first... hahaha. The condition to keep the line active is 1MB / 1 SMS / 1 Voice Call per 89 days. On the 90th day if not use, need to Top Up to reactivate. You can register thru their app for new SIM or Port In but you only have one choice because new conditions is 1 SIM per I/C.
