have u reach ur coporate ranking that equivalent of manager? not the title but actual managerial role. most mba required you to have at least 3 yrs working experience and at least one year in managerial position. it is a important investment, pick wisely and do no go for courses that requirement lower qualification than the norm.

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Dec 18 2014, 04:57 PM) newcomer from UK, university of reading offer their EMBA here soon in JB. How is henley business school compare with Lancaster and Strathclyde? Henley ranked higher than both. But with EMBA, the strength of the student class profile is more important compared to traditional MBA programs. The good Executive MBA programs are very selective about their students. They will evaluate the number of direct reports, size of business you oversea and your position in your company's overall org chart. Judge Business School (Cambridge) for example, asks applicants to submit the company org chart indicating the applicant's position. Most EMBA programs require a separate section of the application to be filled by your company indicating why the company supports your enrolment and what plans they have for you post graduation. Thats for for most Ivy League MBA and EMBA programs, getting in is half the battle won. |

Henley requirement is a lot lower than judge, and their EMBA is the only course that ranked in FT 2014. Credential is important but not the rank to me really. anything below top 10 have little to compare anyway. Only thing i am worried is the standard of teaching. funny to say, university of reading just open its door, while no matter cdc or sunway, both are long time teaching in malaysia. Thats for for most Ivy League MBA and EMBA programs, getting in is half the battle won. anyway, entry is no problem, problem is, is it good? lol |

Hi
Need some advise and opinion from folk out here who has completed their EMBA. Anyone who has completed their EMBAcould share the after effect I mean +ve and -ve effect 1. Is it good for your career progression? How? 2. Any issue with recognition? EMBA not recognized yet right? (checked with jpa/mqa) 3. Anyone proceed further with DBA after EMBA? I heard some did but not pretty sure though Not even sure if it is possible. 4. Anyone took path into lecturing with EMBA (just curious) and is it recognized by any university/college I am on verge of joining UiTM EMBA (just went for interview), and still considering to take EMBA or MBA somewhere else. I was an engineer for some years and just change profession to Business Development/Sales recently. I am hoping for better career progression and options. Funding is not an issue since i am looking for those course around +-20K with funding from mybrain15 etc Anyone is joining EMBA at UITM kindly pm me..cheers Thanks Best Regards |

QUOTE(prosampah @ Jan 12 2015, 12:21 AM) Anyone have comments about Australian - Monash MBA in Malaysia? First Class starting in Jan 2015. Thanks. The highest ranked Asian business school is actually University of Hong Kong at No 29 in the global rankings. Next comes Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedebad at No 30. NUS is at No 32. Triple Accredited. Are the MBA good? The highest ranked MBA program available in Malaysia is Strathclyde at No 73. Lancaster (offered by Sunway) comes in at No 77. As for Monash they arent in the Top 100 list in the world rankings 2014. Cant seem to find them anywhere on the rankings by FT. As for the triple accredition, although the business school may be triple accredited, the program here in Malaysia may not be. Its the same case with the Lancaster MBA program offered by Sunway. So worth a check. Btw, how old are u and how many years working experience do you have? |
