Allow me to give a few words of advice if you want to get good with them. First of all, understand that Hanzo & Widow are both high skillcap heroes. Widow on consoles is particularly hard to play, but since she's hasn't been nerfed on console levels, her damage is still strong. The more you play the two, the better you get at them. BUT, one thing I noticed, your presence as a Sniper/Defense hero is barely noticeable, and that is because you camp at one place to snipe people. That's a beginner's mistake, sniper =/= you camp at one spot to take out targets, you move if you have to.
Especially with Hanzo, you waded back and forth hoping targets would pop out, but in cases when they don't, you moved slightly later with the team. If you think you lack the upperhand, throw your Sound Arrow as Hanzo or Visor as Widow, that's your secondary role in the team, to provide vision utility as these two characters. Always be on the move, especially if you are on Attack Modes. Some players, you see them camp a spot, and that's because they have coordinated teams, but given our team comp revolved around up close and personal combat during those two matches, it was a sure thing that everyone would be on the move.
What more if your team is pushing/escorting the payload in to tight corridors with shelter, that's when you need to get on the ground, find a tank to protect you and continue your duties. We had a Reinhardt putting his barrier for awhile, it was the perfect chance for you to reposition but I think you got afraid. Also, one thing I notice you don't abuse much, his Scatter Arrow. Hanzo's Scatter Arrow is widely complained for being OP, abuse the crap out of it, chances are YOU WILL hit someone as long as you gauge a bit on the bounce. If you can't aim for the head, go for the body, the rest of us will help you finish the target off, same applies to Widow, which is the very reason she was nerfed on PC. See someone like Tracer or Zenyatta with 150 HP but can't land a 100% headshot, land a 100% bodyshot then, we'll go in and clean it up for you and you'll still get the elimination.
Lastly, understand that all Defense characters are excellent at zoning/damage. They excel at creating zones of threat, this is the very core of any defense based character in any MOBA games. You saved your Hanzo ultimate for the wrong purposes, it's not to net you kills, but deal major damage. The dragons are huge and they are guaranteed to hit as long you land it well, even more so when you've got a Zarya on the team, you should always be extra responsive about throwing your ultimate out. You're the one benefiting from it because you will more or less get a PotG. In cases you don't hit, throw it anyway if you think the team could use the help of your ultimate, your dragons will push people to a hiding spot because they're huge, this gives your other teammates, like Poodle's D.Va to toss in his Self-Destruct if your dragons hold them at a corner. A well placed Dragon is valuable even if it doesn't do damage.
Not sure why your Dragon came out late since you weren't speaking, I assume you were charging it. If you are the core of the team, it helps to use the Ultimate charge line in the game. Notify your teammates if you can't speak on the mic. Zarya was waiting for either one of us to respond, but sadly, D.Va's ultimate is not reliable, that's where your importance in the team comes in. You are our entire team's damage tbh. Don't be afraid to be on the move, you're lucky Widow and Hanzo are considered mobile already. Imagine playing Mei/Bastion/Junkrat, those guys are sitting ducks if they get cornered. So again, don't be afraid to be on the move with Hanzo and Widow. They both have movement abilities that allows them to reach impossible heights that other Defense characters lack.
Always realize Defense characters are always giving out their position, so its important to be on the move. Widowmaker lets off a loud gun noise when she fires. Hanzo gives off his position the moment he fires an arrow or worse, the dragon. That's why its important to be on the move, unless you know your tanks have gotten 4 out of 6 people held in front of him, then persist at your spot to take one or two more shots and then leave. Why? Because your tank is tanking the frontline damage, smart enemy teams will always have a Tracer/Genji/D.Va go off on their own to flank you down. So, you have to watch out for yourself.
I hope this gives you some nice pointers. Seeing you're a dedicated Hanzo/Widow main, then you ought to know yesterday's Dorado game was a failure because during the final push, we lacked damage, which was you in essence. Not harping on it, but just letting you know the importance of your role in the team. Hope after that, you'll find yourself improving.
