F & B becoming tougher with the current Malaysia economy.

luckily people need to eat regardless if economy good or not smile.gif Just like property. And precisely because of economy, both husband and wife need to work.

High end / middle end f&B will be though. Food court is just nice I think.

I think it is good time to pump in money when other aren't smile.gif

Btw you still continue with your plan? Or you decided to put it on hold?

that's why cycling lane is needed. when there are more cyclist and cycling in the town become a normal scene, car will give way to them

many area is covered by cctv and cyberjaya has vr low crime rate, especially snatch and run case

As an traffic engineer, I would say that cycling lane will not be effective. Is just the same concept of motorcycle lane you see in Muar town.

Driver in Malaysia will not give a shit about that.

Is not about driver driving crazily or racing.. is just the psychology of cyclist. If there is a row of kerb to protect the cyclist or the bicycle lane is on the side table, that's different story.

Maybe now the traffic is still low in cyberjaya, you don't have the fear of getting hit by a car. When population increase, more cars will be on the road.

bro, as an traffic engineer, its your job the make the cycling lane effective la... biggrin.gif just kidding

btw, different town have different culture...the most important is right culture inject to the town, now I already can see car slow down when they see cyclist on the road.

ppl feel it is safe that's why there are more and more cyclist on the road, in future they will be more cars for sure but they will drive according to the road condition since they know cyber is known for cycling town, bang on a bicycle is much serious then bang on a car blink.gif

Well, I just speak based on the research done by developed countries on the feasibility of transport mobility.

Of course I hope it will be a success to cyberjaya. icon_rolleyes.gif

Well, I think at least with the bicycle lane, people will be more aware and lookout for cyclist.

It's a step on the right direction, just that it might not be on par with the best implementation else where.

With the current low car traffic density, now its the time to start implementing more cycling / public transport infrastructure. If they allocate more Park & Ride services and reliable feeder bus services (maybe can intro electric buses), hopefully this will sustain the car traffic load.
