still attend class,the cd's or cassette are just for revising only,usually works on travelling   or doin nothin listen arr..but the text book thingy for self study..thats depend on individual,for me i need to attend class..lecturer has many ways of making student understand some difficult areas or definition..
btw,we always chat here in forum,how do we know that any of u in real life(i mean to recognise u guys in class)maybe if we can meet u all in the same class on the subject we register..put picture lor or  any friendster

FYI , it is different for FTMS , u need to be thier student to get half price (i.e half price of the books in sterling ... means u will get study text for around RM 90 instead of those mph bookstore price RM 210 )

the DL Training Consultancy although is in the Mc Orange building ( I not sure whether this company is under Mc Orange college, just know they are seperate entity gua ....) , they offer the price for BBP study material without pre-condition that u must be Mc Orange student !

Applicable only Dec07, for those student who were eligible to take optional papers in previous attempt (June07), they have the option to do optional papers first before core...

Mc orange nearby masjid jamek lrt station.. get out from station, look for kiosk, then al-wira restaurant at that junction turn right u should be able to see the college..

Erm i've attended both lecturers before, sheila for 2.6 and philip woo for 3.1, and both phillip's and sheila's 3.1 revision.

For sheila, at the beginning quite intimidated with sheer volume of her notes that we have to cover, and since it was my first contact with audit, there were many times when i didn't quite understand what she was teaching (also maybe due to the fact i was not very hardworking la hee )

but looking back now, her notes are very detailed and she covers the whole syllabus (i think =p) systematically. She's quite a dedicated teacher... I guess if you are hardworking and go through all her notes diligently most porbably you'll have a high chance of passing:)

For philip woo, i enjoyed his classes and he always encourages us to use common sense to approach the questions, instead of reciting a long list of mnemonics...His classes are also more interesting and applicable as he relates alot of stories to us.

However, for 3.1 he mainly used the past year questions as his main teaching materials, which in my opinion, does not adequately cover the entire syllabus. Also, he's quite fast and seldom writes down points when he's teaching. So you have to make your own notes really fast while listening to his lectures...I don't write that fast and my handwritting is really untidy so sometimes wish he would give us more time to write the notes down of course if you have good memory you can just sit n absorb his class..  i'm not too sure whether it's the same for his F8 class though =)

And as you mentioned, he offers much less classes compared to sheila. For me, it's good for working people because you don't need to go for night classes. But you might not be able to concentrate so well during the later parts of the class because of the long hours...i'm always "fishing" by then hehe... 

Finally, for the 3.1 revision, sheila specially prepared a revision pack and condensed the important parts for us to study. Philip woo, as far as i remember (one year already =p) he went through the past year questions and covered some spotted areas using photostated notes, but he didn't prepare his own notes.

All in all, both lecturers are quite good, and i guess it really depends on each student's personal preference. i prefer sheila, that's why i'm taking her P1 classes now hee

Oh i see ^^ hehe but there's so many people ~ there's class tomorrow...any special identifying characteristics? eg bespectacled or red hair or purple bag or green sports shoes or lightning shaped scar on forehead haha...

Anyway..I was the girl with shoulder-length hair in white blouse+jeans+ blue white puma sports shoes with blue bag..who was 10mins late for class today     
usually prefer sitting in the front 3 rows cause i tend to "fish" very easily   

thank you hehe ^^ was glancing hopefully around class yesterday..some guy in the front row smiled back  ..but since u guys didn't sit in the front i guess that wasn't you  sadly i don't have a gang to identify myself with..all of them went to philip woo! the price difference was the main motivating factor sigh..  i usually sit on the 3rd row...

i remembered that when i signed up for CAT classes with the college, they gave me a form to fill in, and after a few weeks i received this file with ACCA info in it..can't remember whether i needed to pay subscription at first or not though..it was so so long ago 

I checked the website, seems now u can register online or request the registration pack through post. Just click which option you want on the left hand side ACCA  register site

hi! now i study at ksa! i want to find room for let? now i stay subang very far and hard to go college ler! all the student at ksa like to stay at where? because i just 1 ppl only, got any room small and cheap and easy, fast, safe for me to go college or no? any ppl want to find house-mate ma? better is study same subject with me-p9, p7(joe fang class) p8(philip woo）because got night class one ppl go back very scare ler! i will move at this september! pls help me

wah,got lecturer also neh..good!!good!!every lecturer has its own way of teaching,at the end  of the day, the most importantly is that we understand the subject,no point if went to full pack class,best recommended,but ourself don understand,and dun have any effort to revised..Jackson chan for me is A-OK olso..sheila,well her P1 also seems better,plus mr.Bob teaching i heard quite ok too,so much P1 lecturer 

Try Chan Tze Kang (McOrange) ..Also a very very good lecturer for F9.. Recommended

wow,that a lil bit harsh    but of cuz,at the end of the day..the student will choose their own option where to study..as long they are suitable with the teaching and environment..i've been to all the colleges in around k.l,pj  paac,ftms,ksa,unity,stanford,mcorange,the former (klc),segi college,& sunway and yet,i didnt stick to one college..always travelling from one to another  and lots of invest in RM... now im in *********(confidential in order to prevent conflict of interest)

the earliest that candidate will get their result at 12pm..if b4 that,then..ur lucky lor..can plan which subject to take or proceed with exisiting subject  but if u r using yahoo previously maybe will be late or worse the next day u'll be getting it.. as for me..i can only know by 5 pm..got class at ..... at 2pm    (too anxious)
